Sometimes, when it’s really dismal out, the best way to offset the yucky weather is with cheery clothing and accessories. It’s times like this where I reach for my yellow pea coat and sparkly floral earrings (they’re made out of sequins!) I say this a lot, but it’s amazing how some pieces of clothing seem to possess mood-altering characteristics.
This cute striped top is from my friend Jessica’s collection. I love how soft the French terry fabric is… and I am so proud of how great of a job she did with her Spring collection! This time around the sizing is a bit more true to size than it was in the Fall. I’m wearing a small here and it fits me well, but I probably would have been fine wearing a medium (I have a very long torso and generally prefer a looser fit!) I love the little lace hem, makes it look as though you’re wearing two tops! Be sure to take a peek at the rest of her lookbook – it all looks fab!
I hope you guys are having a great week. I have a busy day today – running around the city for a bunch of meetings and a fun shoot later today… it’s crazy how things can pile up after being gone for even just a week!
