And Monday! I hope that everyone is having a nice MLK Monday/long weekend and that you’re lucky enough to have the day off from work. My weekend was really nice. On Friday night I had tickets to the premiere and after party for HBO’s new show, VINYL. Oh my god you guys… it is so great. I kinda see it picking up where Mad Men left off, in a rock and roll way, though. The acting, the cinematography… all so great. It premieres on Valentine’s Day… prepare yourself to have a new favorite show!
Saturday was a brunch and then a party that night, and yesterday I let myself be gross and binge watch TV all day. Sometimes you just need a really lazy disgusting day where you order take-out, don’t shower, and just totally veg out. I hadn’t had one of those in a while. I wound down the day with some work and making the white bean and sausage soup from this cookbook… really, really yummy!
PS – This Cuyana Coat was one of the best purchases I’ve made this winter. It’s so warm and I love the oversized collar. It comes in camel as well.
Outfit Details: Cuyana Coat // 3.1 Phillip Lim Top (also available here, and check out this post for several more affordable options) // 7 for All Mankind Jeans // Kate Spade Saturday Hat (old but this and this are identical) // BaubleBar Brooches (c/o) // Saint Laurent Sac de Jour // BP Booties
I bought this top during my quest for cute tops to wear with jeans. (It’s on the pricier side so be sure to check out fifteen much more affordable options!) I love the detailing at the sleeve though.

That blue coat is great; it’s one of my favorite colors! Sound like a great weekend and everyone needs a lazy binge watching tv day every once in awhile!

I always love your bags!

Love that top, especially with the light wash jeans! It makes a sort of an accidental monochromatic look (or maybe it was purposeful but you just make it look effortless!). Loving the coat too
Besides this outfit being absolutely adorable, the blouse is such a gorgeous piece and I’m sure that it would work wonderfully as a springtime closet staple too!

I love the brooches on your coat! Definitely stealing that idea. This beanie is super cute on you too!

The brooch idea is great! I tend to get tired of my plain coats and really crave something with more color…but it just ends up being too much. I may need to give this style idea a try.

Love this look! I’m interested in making a purchase of one of Cuyana’s coats, either this one or the cropped trench. Can you speak to the fit? Was it true to size, or did you go up a size at all??
They run pretty true to size! I always find Cuyana’s apparel to be cut a bit narrow through the hips but I took a medium in this one. (I wear a 6 at J.Crew and a Small at Club Monaco if that’s any help)
