It is no secret that I am a big fan of FabFitFun. I partnered with them to review their summer box and I couldn’t be happier to team up again to tell you about the latest box I received.
A few reasons why I love FabFitFun so much!
one // It’s always packed with good stuff. I can’t stress this enough: only things you’ll actually want and USE! My box this season contained eight items – all things I absolutely love. From things I chose myself like the blue light glasses above to fun surprises like the BEAUTYPAPIER shower gel (it smells heavenly!) and Hythe sleep mist. It’s a really nice mix of either items you choose yourself so know you actually want, or carefully vetted cool surprises from fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands I didn’t already know about.
two // It’s an amazing price and value. The box is always valued at $200 or more but sells for $50 (which is oftentimes the value of one product!) If you use my code Use my code THESTRIPE you can take $10 off your first box!
three // It is a subscription but only comes every quarter. I don’t know, a monthly box of surprise treats would feel like overkill. But 4x a year makes it more like a fun treat and something to look forward to, like a present from a friend who has really good taste.
four // I said in my summer box review that the box feels like Christmas morning. A few things you might have asked for, and then fun surprises you’ll also love. It’s really made for a fun treat in quarantine, especially. I always know my FabFitFun box will be packed with good stuff I actually want and love.
There’s also a charitable angle!
Each box raises funds and awareness for non-profits. FabFitFun has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for their charity partners throughout the years.
The Fall charity partner is No Kid Hungry. During COVID-19, millions of children have lost the healthy school meals they depend on due to school closures. No Kid Hungry is committed to ensuring kids get three healthy meals a day during the crisis and beyond. They’ve sent more than $19 million in emergency grants to 876 schools and community groups and helping to serve more than 13 million meals a day.
A few of my favorite things from this box.
Nectar Sunglasses Blue Light Blocking Glasses
These were a chosen item and probably my favorite thing from the box! It was my first foray with blue light glasses and I love them. My eyes definitely feel less fatigued (and I stare at a computer screen all day long!!!) I’ve been wearing these while I work every single day since getting my box.
The Laundress Crease Release Spray
This was a surprise item and one that I was delighted to receive as it’s something I’ve been buying for a long time now. It is free of any chemicals and really does help to loosen wrinkles for those of us who don’t always want to iron (smells so good, too!) It’s also great to pair with an iron or steamer for really stubborn wrinkles!
Hythe Sleep Mist
This sleep mist is so nice and makes getting into bed a little ritual. I spray it all over my sheets and tuck into bed with a good book… heaven! It has witch hazel and lavender oil and is also safe to use as a facial mist.
Glossmetics Hair Removal Device.
This was one of the items I chose for myself. I know what this looks like! LOL. But this little gadget (usually $59 – more than the box costs) is amazing for sweeping away unwanted hair from any area of your body. I constantly miss spots when I shave my legs (especially knees and ankles) and this is amazing for that.
Reusable Cutlery Set
I also chose this little set. I’d been meaning to buy something similar and kept forgetting so this was perfect! I really try to avoid single use plastic when I can (I don’t like to be preachy but it’s a small thing you can do!) and already had a straw I carried around so now I have this little cutlery set, too! It’s very cute and also lightweight.
This was such a good box! Don’t forget: use my code THESTRIPE you can take $10 off your first box!

Do you know if you can send boxes to different places? For example, if I became a member could I have one box delivered to me, the next one delivered to a friend as a gift, and then the one after that come to me again? I’m thinking that one of these boxes would make a really nice gift for a friend but would also be interested in some for myself and a whole year of boxes seems like overkill for a gift, tbh.
Hi Emily, I’m honestly not sure! I think you could just change the address? Maybe shoot their customer service team a note, that sounds like a nice idea!
