Happy Cinco de Mayo! I hope you have fun plans tonight to get outside and have a margarita or two… or at least participate in a little Taco Tuesday action. I’m going out for cocktails with my girlfriends later, but I’ll also have a yummy Paloma recipe up on the blog a little later today.
Anyway, I’ve talked a lot about Topshop and all of their amazing Spring dresses, but I also scooped up this cute little white crochet top + skirt set. I can’t say enough good things. You know by now that I’m a huge proponent of the twin set, but this one is especially versatile. The pieces easily mix + match with the rest of your wardrobe (the top would be so cute with a navy skirt or cutoffs, and I’ve been wearing the skirt with a striped tee or a black tank). Also, my elephant purse is probably the cutest but least practical thing I own. It pretty much will only hold cell phone, my credit card + ID, and maybe a lip gloss. But guys, it’s an elephant! So yeah. We don’t really care.
Lastly, everyone needs metallic espadrilles. I feel very strongly about this. These are my go-to shoes come wedding season when you want to be able to dance all night and aren’t sure if you’ll be standing on grass. This pair is four years old, but I found some similar options for you here, here, and here!
Outfit Details: Topshop Lace Crop Top (also available here) // Topshop Lace Skirt (it’s cut small… size up! also available here) // Alice & Olivia Elephant Pouch (also here) // Michael Kors Espadrilles (a few years old, similar options here, here + here) // BaubleBar Quartz Spoke Collar // BaubleBar Draco Ear Crawlers // Samantha Wills Ring
This necklace is so good. It’s hard to see the rough cut quartz crystals against my white dress, but it’s amazing, I’m really happy that BaubleBar is carrying more organic crystal pieces as they’ve always been a favorite of mine.
And about my bracelets… (there are so many of them!) They are a mix between Vita Fede (I have two of their Mini Titan Bracelets that I prettymuch never take off), my Lele Sadoughi C Slider Cuff, and my BaubleBar Cone Cuffs (which mix so well with the Vita Fede cuffs without costing a million dollars.) I’m also wearing a sailor knot bracelet which they gave us when I went to Hilton Head. You can get a similar one here.
