Annnd, just like that, party season is upon us! I have my first party of the season as tonight as I am helping to host the ASPCA Young Friends’ Fall benefit. I ended up renting this pretty little navy number from Rent the Runway and love the dramatic fit and flare silhouette. At this point, my standard party outfit is down to a science. I’m usually only have about twenty minutes to change when I get home form work to get ready, so I can’t mess around too much. Blowout in the morning, home to touch up makeup + apply a red lip. I typically always wear something with a fit and flare silhouette (looks better in photos), take a cozy shawl with me, and rely on a box clutch, metallic heels, and statement bling of some sort for accessories. Boom.. done. Another fun thing to try out is a party skirt! I’m loving this navy midi length, or this vibrant fuchsia mini. Just add a silky cami (any of these?) and it’s just as fun as a party dress… if not a little more interesting.
