What I Wore: Wedding in Maine

As I mentioned in earlier posts, this weekend, we were in Northport, Maine, for a wedding.  I got an unusually large amount of compliments on my outfit, so I thought I’d do a post on what I wore!

The dress is from this Etsy shop, and I’m totally obsessed.  The pictures on her site aren’t great, so they don’t reflect how good the quality actualy is.  You can wear it at least a dozen ways.  It’s also under $100, giving it a practically non-existent cost per wear.  The only problem is that her dresses take up to 6 weeks to make, and she goes on maternity leave in August.  So if you want one, order now!!

The earrings are BaubleBar, and my absolute favorite.  They’re so sparkly!

Lastly, these Michael Kors Wedges may just be my new Wardrobe MVP.  They’ve gotten me through a slew of this summer’s rehearsal dinners, weddings, etc.  The espadrille sole makes them super comfy and easy to walk (dance) in, while the metallic leather and 5″ heel keeps things elegant.  They are on sale now (I wasn’t lucky enough to get this deal,) and also under $100!

This outfit (or some version of it,) is pretty much what’s getting me through wedding season.  Dance-friendly wedges, sparkly earrings, and a dress that can be worn a zillion ways?  It works.
