These are the things that weekends were made for: cozy sweaters, converse… messy hair… living in easy sweatshirts + boyfriend jeans. Hours spent on the couch with a good book or catching up on the previous week’s DVR recordings. Sleeping in, trips to the Farmer’s Market. And okay.. the less exciting stuff like cleaning, getting errands run and things checked off the never ending to-do list.
But that doesn’t change the fact that today is Friday which makes tomorrow Saturday. And tomorrow, you will find me wearing this J.Crew sweatshirt (my favorite, though I do really want a cashmere one like this guy), my favorite boyfriend jeans, curled up with my little Aslan under my fur blanket reading Mastering the Art of French Eating… which, by the way is SO good. I started reading it last night and had to will myself to put it down so that I wouldn’t be up all night reading.
Yes, weekends are my absolute favorite! I also plan to be in a cozy sweater, curled up in my bed with a good book. I really want to read Mastering the Art of French Eating- it sounds like exactly the kind of book I would love.
Absolutely! Weekends are for being absolutely comfortable and recharging for the upcoming week.
You pretty much have the perfect weekend down to a science! I’m looking for a new book, so I might just pick that one up. Also, the new site design is beautiful.
Sounds like such a wonderful, relaxing weekend! Love being able to lounge around in the comfiest of clothes curled up on the couch with a book!
There is no better way to live than what you have just described!

Messy hair ALWAYS on the weekends . . . and maybe sometimes during the week xx
This sounds like the perfect weekend and the perfect weekend outfit. It is Thanksgiving weekend in Canada so I think I will take a page out of your book and wear a super cozy sweater and some comfy boyfriend jeans as I eat as much turkey physically possible and lie on the floor in front of the fire.

That sounds like a perfect day! I plan to do the same thing hopefully, minus the cute cat (unfortunately). I love the J. Crew sweatshirt, totally want that but trying to control myself. And I keep seeing people saying that book is great. Now I’ve decided, I need to read it immediately! Hope you have a great weekend 🙂
I LOVE weekends for doing all those things, including cleaning and running errands. Two days to do what I want on my own schedule is heavenly! Enjoy your weekend!
