TGIF! After a bit of travel drama and a very late night (I spent all day yesterday, from 7am til 5:30pm at the airport, finally flying to Atlanta and then Dallas at midnight), I am (I hope) finally en route to Sayulita, Mexico for a little girls trip with two of my best friends (Becca from the podcast and our other BaubleBar alum/bestie, Jackie!). I will be posting all week on Instagram, but if you’ve been to Sayulita I’d looove any and all recommendations!
This is definitely one of my favorite outfits to wear right now. My favorite cut-offs (they are the best, just size way down), summer-weight cashmere, and of course a really pretty hat. I am so grateful to my friend Dara (she owns Preston & Olivia) as she makes the best hats, but if I order one she will have it stretched to fit my enormous head. The best. I’ve said this before but thanks to her I can finally can wear cool hats!

Great hat! Also love the sweater, actually it’s all good. Here’s a question, how do you not get “hat head” ? I always get that flatten hair look sometimes with a dent, not attractive. This is the reason I never wear hats. I also have a huge head. Maybe because you have such curly hair? Mine is softer and straighter , although very thick. Mexico is always a good idea. Can’t wait to hear about your trip!

Do you mind sharing what size you’re wearing in the Rag & Bone shorts? I know you said to size down, but wondering if I should size down one or two sizes. I’m typically a size 28 in denim. Thanks!
I’m a 28 in denim and got a 28 in the shorts. They are a bit big, the 27 would probably work too. In writing that, it might not make sense, but I always go up a size or two when I buy denim shorts so buying my usual size felt weird!
I need to explore Brooklyn next time I go to NYC.
