Sometimes there is just nothing better than just hanging out at home and having a quite little weekend. I’ve been really in to cozy days spent on the couch – catching up on blog stuff, sipping my iced coffee, and watching a movie or two once the work stuff is done. Really, just taking my time with my day…vs. running from here to there, feeling stretched and run down. I think it’s so important to just take a step back from life whenever you can and savor the little details. That’s what I did on Sunday, and it felt really nice.
P.S. I’m wearing my favorite new Old Navy Sweater (it feels like cashmere, no joke) and my favorite Paige Jeans. I’m really digging all white right now.. this look is one of my go-to’s!
I’m reading Sheryl Sandberg’s book, Lean In right now. I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a feminist, but her book has raised a lot of points I really hadn’t thought of. I know I personally have a hard time balancing everything and often feel like a fraud/not qualified to be doing all the things I do. So far, her book has been both refreshing, inspiring, and downright helpful. I encourage you all to read it if you have time… I can’t say enough good things. Her book has gotten a lot of criticism in the media, but I think she speaks from the heart and has a lot of really great points.
Note: This post is not sponsored by Grady’s Cold Brew, but I have to tell you how much I love it! It is THE BEST iced coffee… every two weeks I get six bottles delivered to my apartment… it’s my favorite treat!

love the all white look, and the big windows in your place are awesome they bring in so much light.
I’m so glad you’re reading Lean In! Also, digging the all-white look at home. My at-home look is decidedly less glamourous (giant Adidas trackies and some sports t-shirt), and my home looks like a disaster. Eek.
where do i even begin?! first of all, you are so cute! i love the all white ensemble – especially the nails 🙂 And I’m glad you recommended “Lean In”. I’ve heard about it, but wasn’t sure it was worth it or not. Not sure what’s up with all the criticism she’s getting. And I’m always unsure about bottled iced coffee..for some reason it always has a funky taste to it. But I love the packaging of this one. I’ll have to try it out! Hope you have a lovely day! xo
You are a model! This looks so relaxing- I kind of want to stay home today and just read. If only, right?
I’m curious to pick up Lean In soon – I’ve heard so many good things! And I love the at-home photos. They seem so editorial, yet at the same time refreshing.
you should, i can’t put it down!
You are too pretty! If I’m honest, this looks like my dream day 24/7…there’s nothing better than sitting home in comfy clothes with a good book! Also, I have that cable knit pillow at my apartment too. It’s so cozy!
This post is not fair on a Wednesday! It makes me crave the weekend. Like you, I love my slow weekend days, where I can catch up on blog stuff, take a nap, and cuddle with my guy and fur baby. Except, I’m definitely not looking as cute as you when I do it! Normally pajamas and a messy bun are involved 😉
haha – me too… I just don’t take photos in my pj’s with messy hair! 😉
I love that sweater! Totally ordering it!
Love the peek into your home life! I’m an iced coffee fan too, so I will definitely have to check out this cold brew! xo
This looks like a magazine shoot! So pretty!
there’s a deal running on Fab.com right now for Grady’s: http://fab.com/sale/17770/product/291580/
thanks for the heads up – yum!
Love these pictures Grace! You look very cute and relaxed! 😉
I totally agree! You just have to unplug every once in a while and spending a weekend curled up on the couch is definitely a great way to do it!

That ice coffee looks devine! Also I am not going to need to hit up Old Navy to see this sweater!
You look so pretty! Love seeing a post about you at home.
Dream. Can we be transported to the weekend right now? This should be a Friday post! Ha. So into the all white thing — nails included — so adoring your look and totally cozy space. I’m totally hating my dress and heels right now and wanting something elastic and cozy. 🙂
I was just looking at this sweater online yesterday – now I really have to have it! 🙂
Ooh, love this post, Grace. Lydia did a phenomenal job with the pics! Downtime is so important, that burn out just comes on so fast. I am going to have to look into the book. I am intrigued. xo

I’m loving it so far. I’m only a few chapters in, but really enjoying it!

Great post! I love the originality of this post! Where did you find that glass?
I got it at Fish’s Eddie!
I’m so excited to read Lean In. I haven’t hear from many people who have read it (just a lot of criticism in the media) so I’m glad to hear that someone has positive things to say about it!
I love this beautiful little look into your quiet weekend! I need to read a good book, I will look into this one. Hope your week is going well!
These days are the best days. I feel like if I do too much through the week, I don’t have time to catch up!
This looks like the perfect weekend! I am curious to read ‘Lean In’ as well.
Love this all white on you, Grace!! I do consider myself a feminist so I’m thinking I need to get my hands on this book! Thanks for the recommendation 🙂
Love these photos! I just finished lean in and marked about half of the pages… Lots to think about! I’m curious to see if you will change your thoughts on being a feminist when you get to her explanation in the book- Sheryl argues (and I’ve always believed) that a feminist is simply someone who believes in equal rights for men and women.
Grace! Loving the all white look and a sneak peak of you inside your gorgeous home. xox clara
You are so cute Grace. And I love your sweater. Also you have sold me on the iced coffee and I haven’t even tried it. Looks divine!
I am reading through the book now and am enjoying it a lot. She does bring up a lot of valid points and the points she does bring up are items that aren’t discussed as much as they should be.
love the sweater
xoxo navy & orange
You look so cozy chic! I’ve been dying to try some of that Grady’s cold brew. I may just have to order some now!
Looks so relaxing — and the coffee table is looking great! 🙂 That couch is the bestttttt.
I read your blog a lot and love your sense of style, but I am confused as to why you wouldn’t call yourself a feminist. A feminist is someone who believes that women should have rights equal to men. Why would you not want to align yourself with this? I am not trying to annoying, but I have seen this a lot lately with women our age and am wondering if I missed the negative connotation to this word…
Thanks for your comment. Truth be told, sometimes I write these things forgetting that people actually read my blog. I don’t know what it is, I just don’t love the word… I completely believe women to be equal to men and I know my answer is not very helpful. Maybe the answer here is that yeah, I guess I’m a feminist… I just hate the word!
update: ordered this for my “iced coffee obsessed boyfriend” and he loves it! also- their customer service is amazing. somehow my credit card got charged twice and i emailed grady himself for assistance— he emailed me back right away and refunded me. amazing. XO!
yeah! so glad to hear it… I’m obsessed 🙂
So I’m about 3 months late to this post but I love it! The images are actually relaxing! Love the sweater!
