Weekend Reading

veuve

Happy Weekend! This week was a short one but I’ve been in a bit of an inspiration-rut… back to a crazy week of work and a little bit of post-vacation blues… combined with {still} being injured and not being able to go to yoga. Waah, waah, woe is me. Just kidding… I have a pretty great life… I think the problem is that I’ve just felt so scheduled, lately… working really hard at the day job and the blog, plans every night after work… it burns you out. I’m really excited for a fun weekend, though… I’m at polo with Veuve Clicquot today {my first time going, but check out Jamie Beck’s photos from last year here – they are so amazing!} and then hoping to spend tomorrow at the park if its nice out. Whatever you’re up to, I hope it is great!

I’m more or less over nail art these days, but obsessed with this gold stripe manicure! So good.

Liz wore another cute lace dress… love. (I did not order this one!)

Perfect stripes.

How to change your life.

I’m craving simple dresses like this {embroidered} and this {striped.}

I’ve been making more of an effort to cook. So I’m really excited about my first hatchery box {and already plotting recipes.} Also, I made these muffins this week. So yummy and healthy!

Oh, tinder… also, this.

The best boy shorts. {love the green}

Some rare photos that will blow your mind.

I’m all about easy sandals for Spring and love these low wedges in the perfect neutral hue.

I loved Caroline’s simple staples.

The best little crossbody.

    I agree with the nail art, although I was never into it seeing as I have perpetually short nails. But those wedges are to die for!

    I’ve always loved the concept of nail art but never actually liked it on myself. Maybe I’ll give the gold striped on a try. Thanks for sharing!

    Thanks for sharing the Change Your Life link. Kelly’s story is awesome and particularly hit home b/c I’ve been in a major diet/workout rut lately. I’m going to try her approach…be kind to myself…and hope to see the same success that she has.

    Hope you had a fun, relaxing weekend!
