Hello! I was in New York for most of the week, which was lovely but busy. I definitely maximized there, and now it is time to rest! I’m planning on a nice, slow weekend. A girlfriend is coming over for movie night tonight, and that is about it. Whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s wonderful. Enjoy this week’s links.

I’m so glad you included this article about Fall in Maine (where I live!) I used to live in the Modcoast region but have since moved inland to the mountains (which have equally, though less-well-known charming villages and great restaurants. I love returning to the coastal towns for day trips and agree with the writer about all of these towns and restaurants (though will say that Boothbay Harbor is my personal favorite town after Camden!). These coastal villages are charming and sophisticated, yes also casual. I think of Charleston as our villages’ “twin-city” for the waterfront scenery, architectural eye-candy, and amazing restaurants. When we retire, we plan to spend part of our late-winter months down in Charleston-the best of both worlds! Oh yeah, and if you don’t mind crowds, July and August are beautiful here, but September is the chefs-kiss of the time of year to be in Maine. It’s otherworldly beautiful here right now!
I love that! Thanks for sharing.
Your weekend reading post is my favorite weekend pleasure!
I am so glad!
I do not feel it’s right for wealthy and privileged celebrities to use their celebrity status to influence votes, no matter who they are.
Why not? They run for office. They have their own news shows. They’re people with opinions, just like everyone else.
You are absolutely entitled to your opinion but I disagree!
Love, LOVE your toiletry bag in the top picture. Please share a link!
It’s Lily & Bean 🙂
