Weekend Reading 8.7.21
dress // wedges // bag

Happy weekend and hello from Amagansett. I was back in New York all week for work meetings (and of course some fun stuff in between), and now I am out East until tomorrow for a few events and things. This has been such a fun trip. It feels really good to be back and it has made me so happy to get to see friends and family (and eat / drink at favorite places!!). I fly back tomorrow (my liver will be grateful). Whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s great – enjoy this week’s links! XO

The best new books to read.

This smocked dress is gorgeous. I love the tartan print!

REALLY excited for this new romcom (sounds a lot like The Holiday!).

I obviously loved Julia’s roundup of pretty kaftans.

I am absolutely loving Biossance’s new cleanser. Gentle + takes off all my makeup.

I can’t stop snacking on these dried tangerine wedges.

Love this colorful Brooklyn rental!

What a pretty breezy floral dress! (This one looks expensive.)

I love the idea of making “adult lunchables.”

This sheer ruffled blouse is SO PRETTY.

Loved these good habits from Cup of Jo readers.

Now I want to visit San Miguel de Allende.

I ordered the Nsale deal on Bombas this week.

The BEST socks.

The healing power of friendship.

A very cute striped smocked dress, at a great price.

On how this summer’s mood suddenly shifted…

The power of talking about Botox.

The details on this blouse are just so pretty.

How yummy does this pan con tomate look?

The best best joggers, in more colors!!!

Loved seeing Eva Chen’s beautiful home in AD.

How to make your salads a bit more compelling.

This lilac dress is chic chic chic (and a great price).

V excited for a second season of Mare of Easttown!

OK do I need this emerald green gingham lounge set? I think yes.

Mmmm, this blueberry and peach galette sounds incredible.

The best books for August.

I’m so happy that one of my old favorite blogs is back!

This mini eye palette (it comes in two sizes – NOT the big one!) has been the perfect travel eye makeup. Love the colors – and how small it is!

Look at this orangutan!

I lived in San Miguel de Allende for a year and it was incredible. I would highly recommend it! Food is amazing, the people are super friendly, and the town and surrounding mountains are just gorgeous. Lots of easy trips to make from there too, like to Leon and Morelia. I’d be happy to talk to you about it!

So many good books in that first link. The Other Black Girl was truly excellent – part psychological thriller(ish), part social commentary. Set in the publishing industry!! So, so good.
