Happy weekend! This week was a little intense on the work front so I am especially looking forward to some down time! Hoping to see friends, family, get in a little yoga and healthy cooking… a nice, chill, introvert-y weekend! Whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s fab! PS – GO see Where’d You Go Bernadette this weekend! I was lucky enough to see an advance screening a few weeks ago and am so glad it’s finally in theatres – it’s fantastic. ALSO, I loved sharing what my perfect New York day looks like on Helena’s blog!

This treatment is saving my dry summer hair.
The best films of 2019 (so far!)
For my New York readers: where to eat ice cream right now.
This amazing floral wrap dress looks like DVF but for $149. (Plus version here!)
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t wildly excited about the new Little Women trailer…!
After discovering these $11 sunglasses (they look just like my fav Celine pair) I may never buy designer shades again. I have 3 pairs.
Thinking about taking a trip? Here’s where you should go in October.
Why reading is so good for you.
Another Amazon dress! (lol.) I ordered this one in the blue after seeing it on my friend Jess. It looked more cobalt-y on her and I hope that’s the case IRL.
This apartment is an actual jewel box! I love how she used paint to make the space really special.
Tempted by these $75 jeans… they look just like my fav Re/Done pair!
Really related to this as I say “no worries if not!” a LOT. Gonna try and ban this one from my vocab!
How to eat more greens!
A trend I really like: glasses chains! I’m thinking of getting this simple gold chain.
The power of charcoal!
On collecting antique jewelry (something I’d like to do more of).
This spotted skirt is currently in my cart – it’s the perfect transitional piece… wear it now or later!
Whoaaaaa – I really want to stay here.
This sixty four year old woman avoids anti-aging products, and looks fabulous.
Love this (inclusive) beautiful midi dress. I have it in emerald green and want the red print!
My favorite way to get smooth, shimmery legs (perfect with a spray tan!)
Krystal’s Talented Mr. Ripley editorial is just fabulous. I will continue to stan for her creativity.
This $40 Target dress is one of my top sellers from the month and for good reason – it’s SO CUTE!
10 of The Best Books by Women of Color.
Three easy ways to cut down your plastic use.
A $48 bag that totally looks designer.
Five signs that you’re too stressed out at work… and what to do about it!
These ice cream recipes sound gooood. Also, these cookie recipes!

Thanks so much Charmaine!
Loved your “Perfect New York Day” post. Such a fun read!
aww thanks my dear! XO
Thank you for linking the cut down on plastic article! We’ve been using the silicone bags but I hadn’t heard of the bees wax wraps!! Also the pasta tee is in my cart for a friends birthday 🙂 happy weekend!!
Yay! So glad you enjoyed the links! xo
Your weekend reading posts are always a highlight of my weekend! It has to be time consuming to put this together and just wanted to say thanks because I always love reading!
thank you for the thank you!!!! They’re quite a bit of work to put together but always my favorite too!
I’m a bit tempted by the latest Amazon dress, but not sure about what to wear under it. I’m definitely a member of the Itty Bitty Titty club and ALWAYS wear padded bras, therefore have never considered bralets b/c I assumed they don’t have padding. Perhaps I’m wrong & some do? Must investigate immediately.
And… that hotel in Valle de Guadalupe looks awesome!! I might be going there for my bachelorette party in the spring and that would be a rad place to stay!
I think I saw an influencer post one from Aerie!
I ended up ordering a cheap one from Amazon, but it wasn’t eligible for Prime shipping, so I may be waiting a few days longer. First world problems & all.
Hope you had a fab weekend!
