This week was a tough one. Everything is just busy busy busy. It’s the busiest time of year for both the blog and the day job, so I just feel a bit stretched thin. But it’s all good. I managed to meet a girlfriend for dinner at Almond, get to French class, and take my first Core Fusion class… so I did okay. I didn’t sleep very much, but on Thursday I had a little epiphany at about midnight. I was sitting on my couch, working on my blog (glass of wine in hand) and just thought how lucky I am. I may be tired, but I really truly love what I do every day, and not very many people get to say that. This weekend I may be overly ambitious as I am going to try to take two more Core Fusion classes. We’ll see how sore I am… ha.
But anyway. Some stuff I loved this week.
How to stay happy during the winter.
I thought this video (on body image) was fantastic…

I love what you do every day, too! Your blog is one of my favorites. Great mix of links! I love that striped dress.
I love your blog as well, I’ve been blogging for almost a year and as my readership grows it’s incredible how much time and effort must go into it. But I’m really glad that you recognize how great it is you’re able to do something you love everyday. A lot of people are afforded that luxury. 😀 you seem like a very honest and real person. Keep it up (a always drink a second glass of wine if you think you need it 😉

Make it a Double
This was was one of the busiest of my life to date! I had a total meltdown yesterday, but I’m feeling so much better today. Happy Holidays!!!
Wonderful links! Have a lovely weekend!
I know it’s hard to count your blessings when everything in life isn’t peachy-keen, but you are SO fortunate to do what you love everyday! It’s something a lot of people take for granted until they land in a job that is not meant for them (hand raised over here). Not only does it sound like you have a great gig, but you have SO many readers who love what you bring to your blog daily. Your blog is my first destination after I have made my morning coffee. Keep your head up through the good days and bad, and hopefully you will get some time to relax after the holidays 🙂
I love the dress and the leggings. Great list!

You have a great list of links here, and I am honored to be one of them. I think the key to us getting through times like this in blogging is exactly what you said in your first paragraph – realizing how lucky we really are. It’s like how they say if you are sad, force yourself to smile and it will actually cause you to feel happier; I’ve found this month to concentrate on the amazing things in my life and it gives me such a happier outlook and reminds me of how lucky I really am. Keep rocking with your fabulous self, Grace! <3
