Weekend Reading 7.27.24
Still thinking about these grilled peaches!

Happy Saturday. I hope you had a wonderful week! I am feeling a little tired and have the beginnings of a summer cold so I’m laying pretty low. Swinging by a friend’s birthday today, some family time tomorrow… and I’m really into this book. Other than that, just letting things unfold. Whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s great!

Thank you for sharing the article on traditional wives….I found it heartbreaking to read from the author’s perspective of Hannah barely being able to get a word in and feeling like the whole thing was choreographed from the word go with the airline seats but a concept I honestly wasn’t aware of until you shared the article, thank you!

I thought it could have been coincidence, life with kids is crazy, etc but the epidural part broke my heart. You just know she’s only been allowed home births since then because of it

I was just browsing around today and I accidentally came across a book that got great reviews called “Come Back To Bed” I forgot if the blogger Carly was reading something similar or not but it supposedly is clever and smart and and easy cute summer romance by Kayley Loring. There wasn’t a bad review. Just ordered the paperback and it sounds fun to read and inexpensive too.

It has been quite an emotional week for women. Let’s lift each other up, celebrate our ability to make the choices that are best for us and VOTE OUT THE MEN who don’t believe that we alone are worthy. This election will be so important, and I hope the southern women out there get the message that we must fight for our rights. WE decide if we want big or small families, if we want to hand over all of our agency to men. It is on us. Let’s donate, volunteer, talk to our sisters and friends and VOTE like our future depends on it.
