This was another busy week at work + with life and I was knocked down a bit with a nasty summer cold. I was forced to give myself some much needed downtime, which turned out to be a good thing… I think I probably needed a few nights off. I managed to plow through two books in three nights – if you loved Gone Girl last summer you have to read this and this!!! Today I’m doing a whole bunch of blog work and then maybe treating myself to a massage… it’s important to reward yourself, right?
These chocolate covered bananas are just that… BANANAS.
I’m contemplating purchasing this blazer from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale but can’t decide… what do we think?
Loved this tour of my pal Nicolette’s apartment on Teen Vogue!
I’m digging these heels. Love the chunky heel, the color, and that they are under $100.
My friend Emma makes the most beautiful bags out of vintage leather. I love her new pouches!
Obsessed with this new satire site.
I’ve started shopping for Fall and picked up these navy windowpane trousers.
LOVED this DIY ear cuff!
Also on the DIY front, I tried unsuccesfully to DIY this Lizzie Fortunato bracelet a while back. DesignThrift pulled it off perfectly!
Tarte’s Friends & Family is in full swing… take 30% off of everything with code TARTEFF. These lip pencils are my favorite… I plan on stocking up.
PS – Don’t forget to enter my James Jeans giveaway and check out this week’s DIY!
I love that eye makeup in your black/white photo. Inspired me to go put layers of mascara on. It is important to treat yourself and to listen to your body. I really enjoyed the Gone Girl book and will look up your two recommendations. Enjoy your Sunday!
thank you so much for the link! I love your blog and i’m so glad you liked my DIY! 🙂
Get the blazer! It’s classic!
I had not come across that site yet-definitely good for some laughs! Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the heads up on the Tarte sale – so many good deals, so little time!
Those heels are amazing! But more importantly, now I’m craving chocolate-covered bananas 🙂
