Weekend Reading, 4.3.21
sweater // bag

Happy weekend! What a week. I live in Charleston now? I’m partially vaccinated? Everything just feels so surreal, but also so good. Lots of Easter celebrations for me this weekend. A friend is having an outdoor brunch this morning, and tomorrow I’m having Easter dinner with my parents. My dad is making lamb and my mom is making chocolate upside down cake… yum! Otherwise it’s just a bunch of back and forth between my temporary rental and my new rental, getting my Internet set up… and other glamorous and exciting things! Whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s wonderful… have a great one and enjoy this week’s links!

I loved this feature on one of my most favorite artists, Hunt Slonem.

Another really pretty Target midi dress. Loving their spring dresses. (This one is so pretty too, same with this eyelet blouse!)

Having just left New York, this is amazing news: now you can buy Carbone’s famous pasta sauce!

Why our goals don’t always have to be productive.

Still my favorite cozy fleece ever!

The hidden toll of remote work.

Oh I LOVE this pretty ruffle midi dress.

Gahh – Rose Byrne’s Brooklyn brownstone is a d-r-e-a-m.

The appeal of a secret instagram account, just for outfit photos. (I get it – posting myself to my instagram motivates me to get dressed!)

You know I love a good drapey trench coat. This is a good one, and it’s only $40.

Game of Thrones on Broadway!?

How cute is this fun little pineapple sweater?

On letting go of regret.

Love the looks of this very chic WOC owned brand of house dresses!

This ($49!) gingham midi dress is SO cute.

Oh wow:

this hotel in Hudson, NY sounds pretty dreamy.

These heels are the greatest. Chic and elegant and surprisingly comfortable. Highly recommend.

Everything we know about Season 4 of the Handmaid’s Tale.

Chassity always has such cool finds. She’s got the best eye.

I ordered this gorgeous Emerson Fry dress. The pattern(s) are so cute.

29 amazing white t-shirts.

What a cute little (striped!) minidress.

Loved seeing Liz’s home decor updates!

10 must-watch films to screen.

Oh, this is a great ruffle blouse. LOVE the lavender gingham.

The most anticipated books of Spring 2021! And, the best books of April.

Madewell’s new arrivals are so pretty and I adore this little dress!

This 10 minute stretching video looks heavenly.

OMG Justina Blakeney’s converted garage, wow.

These rounded sunglasses are really retro and fun.

Yummy movie night snacks.

What a gorgeous Memphis home!

I’m reading The Power of Ritual by Casper ker Tuile and he talks about turning everyday things into sacred practices. Well, every Saturday morning I wake up excited to drink coffee on my couch, turn on my fake fireplace, watch last night’s episode of DATELINE (I’m 100) and read this post and accompanying links. It’s basically a religious practice.

    Thought you’d appreciate <3

I have to be careful with your link lists because I always end up buying something I didn’t even know I needed. That being said, the Vince Camuto slides you suggested last week just arrived and they are perfect. They are so comfortable and look like Bottega Veneta. Thank you!
