weekend reading

Happy September, and hello from Marrakech!

Morocco has been amazing and I can’t wait to share more with you when I am back next week. I’ve never been anywhere like it. So far, we’ve shopped the markets, taken a hot air balloon ride, and (!!!) rode camels. (Eating a lot in between, of course.) In the meantime, so many good links for you this week… enjoy!

    Happy Saturday! 🙂
That money advice article though! I’m slightly ashamed because I’m 25 and I haven’t got things half figured out yet, haha!

I’ve actually been a cat for Halloween every year since I became a cat mom, even on years when all I did was wear cat ears and call it a costume. Last year I actually wanted to be a handmaid (I should probably say that I wanted to dress up as a handmaid for Halloween, not that I actually want to BE one) but I didn’t start thinking about it until too late to pull the costume together and also didn’t have any plans and wasn’t sure about wearing that type of costume to work, as I’m definitely intending it as a political statement. This year I’m hosting a party for Halloween, so it should actually be a good opportunity for a costume that is also a political statement. Now I just need to start on the costume. Long story short, I might still order a cute pair of cat ears to wear to work on 10/31.
