Happy weekend and hello from Sayulita, Mexico. I know, I know. Please don’t unfollow me for traveling so much. I ordinarily do this but it’s been a slower summer with blog campaigns/deadlines/sponsored content. And we wanted to plan a trip to cheer Becca up after everything she’s been through. Although I generally like to be structured, this summer I’ve learned I can definitely still do my job from anywhere!
I got back from my yoga retreat on Monday night and left for Mexico early Thursday morning. Never a dull moment in these parts!!! We rented the CUTEST Air BnB (will share more when I’m back). Also, we are just planning on lots of fun girl time, beach, yoga, cruising around in a golf cart (yes seriously. We rented one!), and lounging by our pool.

Aw thanks Charmaine! Hope you’re having a great weekend.
Not that it matters much, but Martha Gellhorn was actually Hemingway’s third wife, not his first. There is a lovely creative non-fiction book about the first wife, The Paris Wife, who with her modest, independent income actually made it possible for him to become a writer.
Enjoy Mexico, cool casa!
You’re right – total typo! I wrote this post on the plane mid 36 hour travel nightmare! The Paris Wife is one of my favorites!!!
Looking forward to the Gwyneth article. I happen to be a fan!
I love her too!
I recommend you read “Love and Ruin” by Paula McClain if you’d like to learn more about Martha Gelhorn, this is a work of historical fiction but she of course incorporates a lot of truth about their stories too. I think you’d enjoy given how much you like the genre!
I bought it!!! CAN’T WAIT to read.
Hi Grace – enjoy Sayulita!
I think the link for “How I Get It Done” is wrong.
Cheers!
So sorry about that!
I have always been a huge fan of travelling blogs. The places and different amazing destinations are visiting.
