Weekend Reading.

weekend reading

Happy weekend! I got back from Asia on Tuesday late late and have just been recovering from jet leg over here. I don’t usually get very bad jet lag (it wasn’t bad getting to Asia?) but this has been brutal! Earlier this week I posted a call for feedback on my Insta. One thing that a couple people said was that you love weekend reading but you feel like sometimes I go overboard including other bloggers’ (yes, usually my friends’) outfit posts, and that you’d rather see more lifestyle-y stuff and articles! I thought that was really great feedback and am going to do my best to track down more substantial blog posts + articles, though I will probably always include at least a couple outfits here because I love other bloggers’ outfits! I hope you guys had a great week. XOXO

I don’t even use it, but I really enjoyed the article on how mascara is developed. Good read! 🙂

We went last night!!! It was good but they have a lot to figure out. The service was actually really bad – 5 of us ordered 16 things (it’s all snacks/small plates) and they brought EVERYTHING at once which was a disaster as there wasn’t nearly enough room. Then the lights went out! The servers kept bringing me the wrong drinks (probably because no one could see!) BUT they were really nice and gave us a discount – and assured us that they’re in preview mode for July… as they iron out some kinks. So maybe book for August, haha 😉 But it’s SO PRETTY!

Love your roundups! While I can agree about wanting fewer links from other blogger’s fashion posts, I LOVE LOVE LOVE when you like to other blogger’s posts about personal essays, or other interesting posts. Your’s is one of the only blogs I follow religiously, so I enjoy when you can point me in good directions to step out of my Stripe comfort zone!

Thanks so much for that feedback Katie! I agree – the feedback was specific to outfit posts not more personal posts or interesting content! xo
