I have to say it – I’m glad this week is over. I like this blog to be a happy place, but I’m feeling a little bit burnt out right now. That last week before the holidays is always a bit of a panic and this year was no exception. No matter how much I plan and do in advance, there just ends up being too much to do and not enough time to do it all! Sleep was minimal this week, but I’m looking forward to catching up this weekend. I’m headed home to the Cape today with a suitcase full of presents + DIY supplies… can’t wait for quality time with my parents, my grandfather’s eggnog, vintage shopping with my mom, and downtime.
In other news, here are the things I loved this week!
in the midst of a crazy month, and thinking about where I want this blog to go, this post really struck a chord. Definitely a worthwhile read.
some truly brilliant winter styling tips!
I think I found my NYE manicure.
a DIY candy cane body scrub. yum.
I bought this beanie in four colors. It fits my ginormous head and is really cute/warm.
a festive (and easy) DIY project… loved this!
Rebecca Minkoff resort = so good. especially these.
how to hot roll.
can not wait to make lavender + honey marshmallows.
Just in case you missed it… my DIY for the Zoe Report!
I did a fun little interview with Fashion Indie this week, where I talk about the future of S&S, balancing work + life, my personal goals, bringing on contributors, favorite beauty products, my NYC hot spots, and lots more.

thanks for sharing all those great links – drooling over those marshmallows! Ditto for the candy cane scrub – given that Hanukkah is over it’s the closest I will get to holiday cheer, haha!
Merry Christmas Grace! 🙂 xo
I have felt the same way, too much that I want to do and so little time:( loved that article on design for mankind, thanks for the link! Happy holidays!
I hope you have a lovely weekend Grace and get the re-charging that you need. Merry Christmas 🙂
I loved those Refinery 29 styling tips too. Why haven’t I been knotting more scarves? And Erin’s post is just so inspiring. I just can’t wait to see what is in store. I love her. Merry Christmas, Grace! Thanks for the good reads. xo
