Weekend Reading.

happy Weekend. This was a really, really sad week. There have been so many great pieces all over the Internet this week about what happened/how to help/how people are feeling so I thought I’d quickly link to them before we dive into the usual stuff: This raw + real piece from Jess, turning grief into purpose from Man Repeller, how to help from Kelly, and Dana’s post about how to cope. In the meantime I have lots of links for you this week – I am depressed and anxious and just plain sad, so I hope that they can at least give you a bit of a happy place to escape to. xx

This girl’s outfit (from Paris fashion week) makes me so excited for cooler temps as I just love all the cozy textures she’s wearing. And I’m not sure I could rock a turban but she makes me want to at least try. As for me, I am spending this weekend packing, shooting some projects for the blog, and getting ahead on work as I am heading to Europe on Monday! I have a work trip with Monica Vinader (so excited – she’s one of my favorite jewelry designers!!) and then I am going to see my friends in Northern Ireland for a couple days. So there’s a lot to do before I leave!

I think what I love most about Liz’s maternity style is that it doesn’t feel like maternity style. How chic is this evening out look?

Love the built in choker on this sweater.

Hi Grace, Good round up. The emotional baggage thing, I totally get. My ex husband we a really great guy, but wow. Its a guy thing I guess. It’s been so crazy in the world lately. How many more crisis can we stand? I also have found myself very sad and exhausted. Even if you believe in the 2nd amendment, please can someone tell why any private citizen needs a weapon of war? I see great hope too, but it’s often seems hard to bear. Hope you are doing something nice for yourself this weekend
