Weekend Reading.

It was another busy week! I got to see an advanced screening of Snatched on Monday (starring Amy Schumer) and it was really funny! If you are looking for a cute movie (especially given the mother-daughter dynamic, and that Sunday is Mother’s Day), I would definitely recommend it. I also (finally!) had drinks at The William Vale (the BEST views in Williamsburg), went to a UNICEF fundraiser in the city, and attended a fun dinner party (at 33 Greenwich – so yummy) with Fossil on Thursday. Annnd I booked a flight to London! I am going for four nights  in June for Briony’s wedding – can’t wait! Today I am on set with Tasting Table – they asked me to be in a photo shoot for their new cookbook which will be so fun… otherwise, I don’t have much planned this weekend, which is my favorite. It’s supposed to rain so I’m thinking of doing an old movie marathon. Along those lines – what are your favorite black & white films? I’d love some recommendations!

It’s not in black and white but it’s one of my favorites- “Summertime” with Katherine Hepburn. Also, I’m not sure if you’re on the “Feud” bandwagon or not, but “Whatever Happened to Baby Jane” is amazing (and disturbing, but in a good way). Enjoy!

Roman Holiday is my absolute favorite. I also love “How To Steal A Million” (it’s color, but the fashion is insane). And CASABLANCA. So good.
P.S – thank you for including my jet lag post

Ok, movies! Roman Holiday will always be my favorite, but some other good options are “Night of the Hunter” (kind of creepy, but beautifully down) and anything by Godard. “Band of Outsiders” & “Breathless” are my favorites. Also, it’s not old at all, but my favorite rainy day movie is “Midnight in Paris”.

A rainy day movie marathon sounds so good!
