Weekend Reading.

I am posting this beautiful beachside photo as I am currently immersed in moving craziness!!!! Yesterday was the big day. A lot of things went wrong and there was quite a bit of scrambling, but in the end, it all came together nicely. My back is killing me and I still have a LOT to do but spent the day unpacking and arranging. I thinkkkk I have the overall flow of the apartment planned out in my head but there is still a lot to do. I am going to post nightly updates to my instagram story so that you can see the progress. This week’s post is a little shorter as I’m actually writing this from my friend’s couch upstairs (my Internet isn’t set up yet – as my apartment is newly renovated, it needs to be set up for cable – sigh) and I am tired! Running on about three hours of sleep… I’ll sleep well tonight! Whatever you’re up to this weekend I hope it’s great. And if you are in New York, stay dry – this weather is terrible!

This off-the-shoulder top looks a lot like the Caroline Constas ones I’ve been wearing – except it’s only $55!

Annie always has the best beauty scoop – need to try this ultra luxe balm!

Swoon! In love with this emerald green lace dress. It’s a surprisingly good price, too!

I love a pop of yellow and this embroidered dress from Madewell is so fun for Spring!

I adore Chassity’s printed circle dress. I have it in black (seen here!) and she is making me want to try the print!

This lace dress would be perfect for all of my summer parties. I especially love the blush!

As I (attempt!) to decorate my new space on a budget, I found Copycat Chic and got instantly hooked. She has such a good eye!

This home tour on One Kings Lane = so feminine and amazing. I love all of the color!

As I got ready to move this week, Victoria’s advice was so incredibly helpful. She covered just about everything!

This gingham off-the-shoulder top is so sweet – especially in kelly green.

What the average American woman spends on makeup! This number will blow you away.

Currently in my cart: a blue and white embroidered dress that is only $106! La la love!!!

Moving always sucks and NYC moves are a special kind of hell. My worst moving experience ended with me getting a mild concussion, which seemed bad. Then a good friend was moving from Brooklyn to Seattle and the truck she hired to transport the contents of her 1700 sq ft apartment (and her car) just didn’t show up on the day of her move. And never returned her calls. Ever. That was really bad. Glad you and all of your stuff made it to your new place!

And it’s funny, I used to read Copy Cat Chic years ago but it sort of fell off my radar…then just a few days ago one of her posts showed up in my FB feed and I fell down the rabbit hole. I’ve now pinned and bookmarked enough things to redesign my whole apartment!

Oh my gosh, that is terrible!!!! Both of those stories are horrendous. I had the nicest movers ever… (Round City) they were seriously amazing. My problem was that I did not get nearly enough boxes – oops!

Copy Cat Chic is such a rabbithole! I could read it all day long!!! Hope you had a lovely weekend! xx
