Happy weekend, friends! Oh my… it sure is nice to be home. This week was spent playing catch-up and getting back on US time (the jet lag was real!) I also picked up a little bit of a cold while abroad – yuck! I have to say, I am totally sold on the benefits of apple cider vinegar. I had a big spoonful every morning this week and by today it was completely gone. One fun thing I did this week was see a musical (Come From Away) on Broadway on Tuesday with a girlfriend. It was so sweet and heartwarming. The plot was entirely true which was cool as well. It takes place in Newfoundland on 9/11. Over 200 planes (and 6,000 passengers!) landed in their tiny town – the musical is all about what happens and how the town takes everyone in. I would definitely recommend it. It inspired me to update my New York City Guide a bit. I added a few new fav restaurants + bars and also added sections for museums and Broadway shows. Annnyway, I hope you have a great weekend – I am so excited for the Oscars tomorrow night!
If you saw my instagram story you saw that I did a little closet makeover this week with Fitz! It was amazing – it’s so nice to have some order in my closet. They have a special offer for my readers… book a Fitz appointment before March 30th and get $50 off. Just send a note to bookings@yourfitz.com andmention “TheStripe” to redeem the offer.

Oh good! Hope you pay us a visit! 🙂
Thanks Grace! So glad that your jetlag has subsided and that the apple cider vinegar trick worked! Have a wonderful weekend!
My pleasure Jenn!!! You have had the cutest outfits lately – killing it! xx
I’ve been making a similar/the same turmeric latte from goop for a while now – it’s amazing! Perfectly smooth & spicy. I use honey instead of coconut sugar since I always have honey on hand 🙂
I made the goop one too! Love the suggestion to do honey instead of coconut sugar.
I was just looking at that Mara Hoffman dress the other night! I’m a sucker for anything rainbow-y and cheery (can’t recall if I ever mentioned I bought that J. Crew rainbow tweed blazer you posted here months ago and it is the BEST — thank you!).
It’s actually available on Rent the Runway if anyone is interested in testing it out. It’s on my “maybe” list for a spring wedding, though I didn’t love the way it fit on the RTR model (kind of shapeless and hip-y). Maybe a different belt would help…? Still, SO pretty!
I am too!! Rainbowy fun pieces just make me so happy!!!! Jealous you got that jacket, I love it!!!! xx
Thanks for posting the link to your travel guide – we were in NYC last weekend and were trying to figure out what to do on Saturday night – visiting the Cooper Hewett museum was perfect!
oh good! So happy to hear it was helpful – and LOVE the cooper hewitt!
