Happy weekend, friends! This week flew by for me. My parents visited on Monday so our family went out for a delicious sushi dinner. And then I got sick, so I lost most of Tuesday. Despite being sick I still managed 3 workouts with my trainer (yay) and my first Pop Physique class (at a blogger event with Essie). This weekend I’m really just laying low, which feels like such a treat. Last night I stayed in and worked + caught up on TV… and today is more of the same except a movie date this afternoon with my best friend. (We are going to see Hidden Figures, which looks amazing!) Sometimes it is just so nice to have a quiet weekend… as much as I love my busy life it is peaceful to just do nothing every now and again. Whatever you are up to this weekend, I hope it’s great! Xoxoxo
Before the links, though – I had to tell you – I went to the best place yesterday – MB45… opening on Monday. If you live in New York or are coming for fashion week, book an appointment! They deliver a meticulous blowout + manicure – performed simultaneously… all in 45 minutes. The ultimate time-saver! And on that note, I updated my “where to get pampered in New York” post, as well as my New York City Guide.
How to quit your day job this year (loved seeing my pal Meghan featured!!)
You know I love Rebecca Taylor. Her new Spring stuff is so, so gorgeous, especially this dress!
This Greek Chicken recipe sounds delicious (and looks fairly easy to make, too!)
Also very yummy… Julia’s Kale Caesar Salad (said to rumor Sweetgreen!)
This happy green jacket is now 25% off.
Mackenzie is so cute in her blue trench coat!
Little changes to make life even better in 2017.
I’m tempted by this kimono midi dress… it would be perfect for events + parties.
Blair’s photos from Cartagena… just wow. I only went for a night in December and I really want to go back for longer.
How fun are the tassels on this t-shirt? L-o-v-e!
An interesting perspective about being an aunt.
Actually made me LOL – this guy is my hero.
The tie-sleeves on this star print dress are so sweet. Same goes for the $85 price tag.
You know how much I adore Charleston – loved reading Liz’s favorite spots!
ASOS has some truly dreamy dresses right now. How magical are this + this!?
Four things to know about Planned Parenthood. I learned a lot from this – it’s worth a read, regardless of political views.
Why you should stop saying “I hope you are well.”
This navy jumpsuit is so chic! I love the wide legs. I’d pair it with these vibrant yellow daisy earrings.
A must-read piece if you are thinking about going to Tulum… protect your health, yikes!
Hilarious and oh so accurate: 10 ways Target is robbing you.
Loving these ankle-tie sandals… (they’re only $53!)

The perfect striped t-shirt dress.
I’m embarrassed to say I don’t currently own snow boots. I threw out my Sorels last year (after 3 winters, they were toast!!) I ordered these shearling lined Bean Boots on Carly’s recommendation. They look so soft and cozy!
Thanks to this post, I discovered a gorgeous new beauty blog.
I feel strongly that I need this ($45!) off-the-shoulder tunic in every color!
The biggest wellness trends of 2017.

Isn’t it beautiful? She is my favorite!!!!
You have to try the Caesar. Trust me! Thanks for including it, lady 🙂 xx
My pleasure! Def planning on it – that dressing sounds soooooo yummy! xx
Really great links! I particularly liked the posts about being an aunt, Planned Parenthood, Target and Tulum.
Thanks Maggie! 🙂 xx
Thank you for the article on Planned Parenthood. I feel like a lot of people don’t know all the services they provide. I also don’t think people realize, these kind of cuts attack and undermine, people who are less able to afford healthcare; namely women and minorities. Conversely, women owned businesses are gaining momentum ( yay for you and all the others! )and are gaining ground, collectively against, the Fortune 500. Thanks for the Photoshop laugh. He is brilliant! Some great info here.
I agree – I didn’t even know all of them!!!
Glad you liked the links! 🙂
Loved the post about being an aunt! My nephew was 3 months premature and weighed 1 pound, 12 ounces when he was born. ! I knew intuitively he would be fine, but still made an effort to visit and bond when he was small. He is now a tall, lanky amazing 16 year old and we are very close. He is close to both his parents, but aunts get confidences the parents aren’t privy to. We know that collectively we protect and nurture him.
Aw – I love this story – thanks for sharing 🙂
I get all the ” girlfriend ” info. Gross, you can’t talk to your parents about that!
The email “hope you’re well” greeting article was a good read. I’ve only asked this for close friends; it’s not really a greeting that’s my style. I’ll be sure to change things up a bit from now on.
I say it allllll too frequently, especially in business emails, and especially when I need something! Time to switch it up a bit!!
Thank you for including my PP post! I learned so much while writing it, and I’m glad others are finding it helpful as well 🙂
Julia’s Caeser is aces. And I’m so not a salad person.
You are so welcome! xx
