Greetings from Charleston! I am here through Monday… for my birthday! Well – my birthday is not until Tuesday, but my friend Deirdre and I decided to host a joint birthday party at Leon’s (our fave for oysters + fried chicken). I’m so excited for it. This week was a big blur between my ASPCA fundraiser + getting ready for Charleston, but two big highlights were spontaneously getting to see Adele on Monday, and going to see Aladdin on Thursday night with my sister. (It’s one of my favorite musicals, I’ve seen it twice now!) In other news, I finally started watching Stranger Things. Have you seen it? So, so good. Creepy though… I usually watch TV before bed and it’s been keeping me up.
PS – I am so excited to share that I’m in this month’s (the October issue) Stylewatch Mag! I posted the feature to my Facebook page here.
I loved Jenn’s green + black lace dress! (Also, I was shocked by the price tag – had assumed it would be so much more pricy!)
My friend Kate just launched a gorgeous new textile line!
So happy that my favorite natural deodorant now comes in rose – it smells SO good (and it actually works)!
I am obsessed with my slow cooker and have to try Liz’s Healthy Chicken Taco recipe – yum!
Tired? Having skin issues? You need to read this piece from Victoria regarding adrenal fatigue… and how she ended up getting great skin in the process!
This bracelet is super cute AND helps fight hunger.
I seem to have a problem with copying Merritt’s off-the-shoulder tops. At least I own up to it, right? The latest is this one… it is so good! I packed it for Charleston.
Good lord – this is a great (though disheartening) read: the business of customer dissatisfaction.
It’s too early to think about winter coats, but I still ordered this one this week. The best ones always sell out!
The softest, coziest pajamas EVER.
Gwyneth Paltrow had a great interview in Lenny.
The ultimate in luxury – this dreamy, giant cashmere scarf.
Loved this: the CEO of Outdoor Voices shares her beauty routine + how she looks gorgeous despite always working out.
No, I’m from New York. (insert crying-from-laughing emoji here.)
I love the back of this (super cozy) Vince cashmere sweater.
Truly inspiring – have you heard of Donato Di Camillo? He studied photography in prison… and these are the photos he took when he got out. I’m obsessed with his work and thinking of ordering a print or two for my apartment.
This sleeveless sweater will mix + match perfectly with so many of my favorite things.
For the grammar snobs (hand raised!)… there’s an app, just for you!
Zara’s new sustainable collection looks gooooood.
Fun fringed denim as seen all over NY street style… for only $74!
This cocktail recipe sounds so yummy… and Chassity looks so pretty!
A fun DIY idea – painted rugs! There are so many ways you could reinterpret this… Will has inspired me!
My all-time favorite face mask in a limited “honey blossom” edition.
I can’t relate to anything Kate is saying here… but that photo – most gorgeous pregnant woman ever?
This J.Crew jacket is expensive, but it could pass for Chanel. I love the rainbow tweed!
How to turn around a bad day.
Velvet is such a big trend right now – here’s how to wear it at any age!

Hi Grace!
I’ve been eyeing the lake pajamas for months now but have a question. Are they a knit cotton like a t shirt or more like a structured button down material?
Thanks! As always love the blog. From one Grace to another 🙂
Hi Grace! 🙂 They are knit cotton… like a tee! (the softest tee, ever!!!) I love mine so much – hope you try ’em out!
I’ve been seeing people wearing those fringe jeans all over the city latey! At first I didn’t love them, but they’re kind of growing on me. So fun! Happy early birthday! 🙂
Same here! It’s funny how that happens with some trends, once you see them enough!
