Weekend Reading.

random-2

Hi + happy weekend! Sorry I’m a little late with this weeks links… life was a little hectic and yesterday I was out in New Jersey for my cousin’s baby shower. This week was a good one, although slightly crazy. I got back from Cape Cod on Tuesday late afternoon and it’s just been go, go, go ever since! No complaints here though – it’s really nice having so many friends in the city for fashion week. So far the highlights for me have been the FMA Awards, dinner with a few of my Charleston girlfriends at Alta, a dinner with Sole Society on Friday, and dinner last night with Merritt, Caroline, and our friend Christine. Whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s great – enjoy your Sunday!

You’re drinking champagne all wrong. Or maybe not but this concept sounds pretty cool.

These boots are just so chic, especially with jeans.

This is so brilliant: I need to commit these new emoji cliches to memory – and into my text messaging game ASAP.

An amazing (new to me) website for beginner cooks. Great advice + simple recipes!

The perfect cool girl bag.

What is a “fashion girl” anyway?

This takes the layering/confusion out of wearing a choker.

I loved Jenn’s classic stripes. Such a good outfit.

Really liked Liz’s honest post about fashion week. Though I’m not a mom, I’m with her!

One of my favorite dresses now comes in red.

Thank you to Victoria for posting this in the comments section of my reading list: the amazing knitwear from The Light Between Oceans!

The coolest sheer blouse. Try layering it over a bralette, bodysuit, or even a simple cami.

Some great tips for those of us who live in small spaces.

How gorgeous is Caroline in her lace shift dress?

A classic bomber jacket with nice long lines.

Love that All Saints bag – surprised how (relatively) affordable it is, I thought they were more expensive. Thanks for the mention! Hope you enjoy your Sunday 🙂

I know, I felt the same way (ha – isn’t it sad how a $400 bag feels “affordable”, these days? Oof.) Hope you had a great weekend, Jackie.xx

Hope you had a great time at the baby shower! I definitely learned from your France trip that not all stripes are created equal! Happy Sunday!
