Hiiiii weekend! Truth be told, I am feeling a little bit burnt out. I was more or less traveling or entertaining for all of July… I returned home to utter chaos. I’ve been feeling really exhausted so I cancelled most of my plans this weekend in favor of getting caught up on work and giving my apartment a deep clean. A weekend at home (and sleeping in) should be just the thing! I hope you have a great weekend – it’s so hard to believe we’re already into August!!! On a positive note, I have lots of links for you this week.. enjoy! 😉
On My Radar: New York:
Dos Caminos has the yummiest guacamole tasting menu! There are three flavors in addition to the regular one. I went this week with my girlfriends and we tried them all… my personal favorite is the bacon + chorizo. It’s unreal.
Have you been to Gilligan’s in the Soho Grand Hotel? I used to go all the time but then they closed. It’s back… and the frozen watermelon margarita is out of this world. Such a fun spot for happy hour.
On My Radar: Everywhere:
Have you checked out Mi Golondrina’s new arrivals? Oh my goodness… I want so many things! (This is my go-to brand for all my little embroidered tops and dresses.)
Me, Elsewhere:
A great article about the future of blogging. I was honored to be quoted!
I did a little interview with Spire & Co. We chatted about life in New York, how I started blogging, and tons more!
My Top Links From the Week:
Adored Ashley Graham’s essay for Lenny.
This swingy tee is just so cozy. I have it in black and just ordered the gray!
What’s in your tampon? Loved this video from LOLA. (for the record I’m a huge fan of their products and my bestie runs their marketing!)
I really loved Will’s photos from Sag Harbor – one of my favorite places!
Clare V makes some of my favorite clutches. I probably need this striped one.
Are you making this networking mistake? I am so thankful that this blogger wrote it; it’s one of my personal pet peeves.
This cute striped dress is just perfect (and under $100!)
Dear Instagram, You’ve Changed. I loved this essay from Lynsey… and fully agree with her sentiments. Also loved this feature on whether to use Snapchat or Instagram stories.
The cutest “modern gingham.” I am obsessed with Sally’s outfit here!
This is going to be the last time I talk about the Nordstrom deal on the Spanx faux leather leggings. They are amazing. I ordered two pairs. You should too.
Twenty commonly misused words that are making you look dumb. I was guilty of “nauseous!”
This little white dress came in the mail this week and I really love it. The fabric is so thick; it’s really flattering
Mackenzie looks so great in her off-the-shoulder stripes.
Clearly there is a striped theme to this post. At least I’m consistent. Loving Liz’s striped crop top.
Loving all of J.Crew’s new jewelry but especially this necklace – it’s like fireworks… on your neck.
I always love reading these… July’s Sephora best-sellers.
This sleeveless ruffle dress is so me. I can’t decide whether I like it better in red or blue!
Kat rounded up her favorite summer outfits. So much good outfit inspiration here!
Carly’s post about snapping out of a funk was timely… I will be doing exactly that this weekend!
My friend Ali got this watch and I love it so much. (It’s on sale through Sunday!)
Jess has me daydreaming about a trip to the Amalfi Coast.

Great links this week! Especially loved your interview- there were so many great takeaways about life in general, and I loved hearing more about your career up to this point. Have a great and relaxing weakend!
weekend* speaking of catching up on sleep….!
Thanks so much for the link love, Grace! Have a wonderful weekend! xo
Thanks for including our article on the state of blogging in your weekly roundup!
I love your blog and especially look forward to the weekend reads. I have noticed for some time that you often start the weekend read with how exhausted/sick/overwhelmed you are. There are so many reasons to take better care and slow down, simplify, be mindful. There are many resources out there on the topic – minimalism, simplifying, mediation, etc…. Just a thought out of pure concern. Wishing you the best. 🙂
Love.

Great articles on Snapchat vs. Instagram Stories. I’m torn between the two! As much as I’d love to stay with Snapchat, the 2nd article has me leaning towards Instagram Stories instead. Time will tell! Thanks, as always, for all the great links!
What great links, especially your interview and the future of blogging. Thank you! JAE
