Weekend Reading, 2.27.21.

Happy Saturday. This was such a good week. We finished shooting the lookbook for my next Amazon the Drop project, I did a LOT of purging and organizing, and I’m actually feeling pretty on top of work. But also very ready for the weekend. We had been having problems with my hosting company for the blog and moved servers but as a result I lost a lot of work (a few blog posts I had written were just… GONE) so there was a lot of scrambling and a few late nights this week, redoing work I’d already done which was frustrating. Still, it was a great week. And I am getting SO ridiculously excited for my Drop launch, can’t wait to share more with you once it’s time!

I LOVE these journaling prompts.

These leggings continue to be one of my best sellers and for good reason: they are AMAZING.

Loved this piece on Martha Stewart, “the original influencer.”

Very excited to check out Loeffler Randall’s new store!

I love Bombas socks and I love this tie-dye pair.

The best books to read in 2021.

Cuuuuute pajamas for only $25.

A little sneak peek at the final season of Younger. Though does this mean we have to sign up for yet another streaming service? Oof.

25 Black owned candle brands.

My absolute favorite joggers now come in a bunch of new colors.

On the magnetic allure of female con artists.

This leopard midi dress looks like Ganni but is only $20.

Ahmaud Arbery’s mother reflects… a year later.

Very excited that Dunkin’ is launching avo toast!?

Have you tried the new Brightland garlic olive oil?

SO good.

I’m really looking forward to watching this documentary about Dior’s perfumer.

This green gingham dress is inclusively sized and SO cute.

Always a hot topic but… why you shouldn’t use face wipes (unless it’s an emergency!!).

Go ahead and fail.

I am in love with this swingy little mini dress. The print is so pretty and it reminds me a lot of my fav Rhode dress.

35 unputdownable books by Black authors.

I love the colors (and the pretty details!) on this really well-priced H&M sweater!

Liz shared this “lightened up” spaghetti recipe and it sounds so good.

On the future of restaurant design.

This pretty little lilac tiered midi dress has me excited for Spring.

Loved Jen’s Nancy Meyers inspired design finds.

The best sweater tunic ever – I have it in nutmeg and apricot!

Easy vegetarian lunches!

Romance novels as a pandemic antidote.

My absolute favorite cashmere pants. I got a second color (the oatmeal) this week and LOVE.

Look at this cat’s adorable bedroom!

I’ve been a Martha adherent since the late 90s, but I love Martha Stewart’s second (third?) act so much. I got mad and unfollowed her when she went on vacation around the holidays (I unfollowed all the celebs who did that, I realize that it’s 90% me being childish) but her IG is the only one I missed, so I refollowed her. She is who she is and I love that about her.

    Have a great weekend!

Oh, Younger. Seriously, what do we think is the ceiling for how many streaming services one should have? We have five (down from six). I no longer have a water cooler around which to discuss these critical matters. Please weigh in!

Waiting on my tunic and pants from Amazon. I’m unreasonably excited.

And seriously, the romance books. I’m married, but I currently crave books with a happy ending. Usually not my favorite genre, but I cannot get enough these days!

I know!!!! It’s ridiculous. I only have 3 (HBO Max, Netflix, Hulu) and don’t want to add them!

I know, it feels silly to add yet another streaming platform just to watch it!
