Weekend Reading.

Weekend Reading - The Stripe
polka dot dress

Hi from Charleston! Today is my last day here… I head home later today. It’s been so nice having some time with great friends in my favorite city… I feel so lucky. That being said, I’m ready to go home. I have eaten + drank my way through the city and can’t wait to be at home, cooking healthy food and getting tot he gym every day. The rest of my weekend will be pretty low key. Catching up on sleep + work, taking a barre class tomorrow… and of course, Game of Thrones tomorrow night!

An interesting sounding sleep remedy.

Loved this: The Catalano Effect, aka why we like the bad boys. (Man you guys… TV is messing us up!!!)

A really cute summer dress. I just love the pom poms!!!

These crazy food hacks will change your life. Seriously, my mind is blown!

Chic sandals for under $100. I like that the tassels are subtle.

I really loved this article about “How a Blog Post is Made.” We (bloggers) try so hard to make everything look effortless and easy, but the reality is that much more goes into it!

Mackenzie is darling (no pun intended) in her derby outfit!

An awesome piece about the “woman card.” (Ugh.)

How to be in a good mood.

And also: how to be unhappy.

This shift dress is so flattering and comes in so many cute patterns!

Loved this outfit on Sally. Her earrings!

ASOS calls it a “prom dress,” but I think this dress would be so fun for summer events!

A clever trick to make heels more comfy.

Love this tie-front dress!

I love Kat’s (dreamy!) white dress.

How to take better care of your clothes.

When history was crazier than Game of Thrones

I’m super into the cold shoulder trend. Really love this eyelet dress!

Liz had some really cute pieces for under $100.

The best rivers for tubing + drinking… summer bucket list?

Jealous of Julia’s outdoor space.

I splurged on Marni sandals in Charleston..

Everything you need to know about probiotics + gut health.

  1. The “how to be unhappy” link is not right, it links to the rivers for tubing + drinking, which is something I would never do 🙂

Some of the food hacks I knew and some were new to me. I have a better one for avocados all you do is rinse the cut one after slicing , wrap and put it in the fridge. It will stay green for several days, no onions needed!
