Anddd weekend. Today is my last day on Cape Cod with my family and then I go home tomorrow morning. It’s been so nice having a few days with my parents. We’ve had some great meals, and done a lot too. Yesterday we wandered around the Cape Cod Museum of Art and then took in a screening of Brooklyn at the Cape Cinema. (It was so good – highly recommend it!) Today, we’re going to the Chatham Bars Inn to check out their life size gingerbread house. I’m looking forward to getting back to the city, though… the holidays are my favorite time in New York. I have lots of fun links for you this week, but there are two posts from this week that you can’t miss: Win $1,000 in Diamonds and The Best Black Friday Deals!

Choose to be grateful. It will make you happier.

A month or so ago, I spent a whole day on set with L’Oreal and AOL, filming videos. The first one is out (holiday beauty hacks) and I love how it turned out.

The perfect Fall Salad.

A $15 version of my favorite Clare V Leopard Clutch.

Loved Carly’s festive plaid outfit.

With so many articles going around the interwebs about decluttering and living a more mindful life, this makes for a great laugh. So many brilliant little one liners in there!

Such a fun party top.

Did you go a little crazy on Thanksgiving? Check out DailyBurn’s free workout!

Love this fringe dress!

This soup is next on my list.

I need to check out the Sabah House.

The chic-est tropical dress… that’s still cold weather appropriate!

I really love these DIY Tassel Moccasins.

The greatest striped sweater. And it’s on sale!

Sam’s bedroom makeover turned out so well. So chic.

One of my favorite home designers.

I think I need buffalo check socks…. they’d be so cute peeking out of the top of ankle boots.

I really want to make this: coconut + pumpkin ice cream!

Sadly, I think the jcrew coat is still excluded from their sale.

Is the J.Crew coat warm enough to be your warmest coat? I have their long puffer from a few years ago and it needs replacing, but I’d want to make sure it’ll stand up to January in New York.

Mmmm… right now it definitely is but when I think about last year, no. It is really really warm, but I also have a Mackage puffer for when it gets REALLY cold / rainy / Polar Vortex-y. That’s not to say that you wouldn’t be warm in it on an average cold winter day… I’m just thinking back on how bad last winter was!

That’s so helpful. Thank you! I live in fear of those frigid days when you’re forced to leave the couch and Netflix behind. 🙂
