Weekend Reading.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Annd, weekend! I’m so happy as I am headed to New Jersey for the night for my cousin Kate’s wedding. Family weddings are my favorite thing in the world as they put us all in one place and we just have the. best. time. ever. This was a good week. I had two really fun dinners… the first at Charlie Bird and the second at Santina! New York friends – add ’em to your list… both were so good! And then of course, everything was made better by yesterday’s Supreme Court decision (finally!) I’m so happy. And now it’s the weekend, and time to kick back + relax! Whatever you are up to, I hope it’s fab!

A quick & easy DIY… lace up flats! (Geneva, you are a genius!)

A pretty lace overlay tank top.

I loved Hallie’s curls tutorial. (And I love Living Proof’s products, too.)

Ann Taylor is offering 50% off sitewide this weekend. Use code WEEKEND50. They’ve been doing a really good job this summer. I bought this white embroidered dress (coming soon to the blog) and can’t say enough good things about it. I’m also really loving the details on this simple shift… might need to order it!

Strawberry champagne (and cherry pie) — yum!!!

Meghan looked so cute in her jumpsuit.

And Liz’s little white lace dress is so darling. Question for all of you: have you shopped at Chicwish before? Their stuff is so cute and reaallly tempting, but I’m wondering about the quality.

I’ve been holding out on the tall gladiators trend, but this pair feels simple and elegant and not overly done up. I’m thinking about ordering them just to see if they work.

I loved Erica’s bedroom makeover!

The perfect summer fedora (I want the turquoise!)

I take Felicia’s recommendations seriously, and now I think I need to try Munchery.

The sweetest print dress – perfect for casual summer days.

Chassity featured an incredible artist that I hadn’t heard of. I love her bright, splashy paintings!

Last but not least, if you are looking for pretty summer dresses for weddings, etc, then check out ASOS Salon! I stumbled upon it late last night and have four dresses in my cart right now. It’s hard to say, but this one might be my favorite.

Chicwish has some awesome deals and are a great option for in expensive trendy pieces.. The quality is on-par with local US “fast fashion” in similar price points but much cuter! Sizing is true to the stated size guide. I’ve been really happy with my few purchases from them.

I second the Chicwish comment! Very cute clothing, inexpensive and TTS. After I ordered, however, I realized they were based in China.

Not a big deal except that it takes at least 2 weeks for me to get an order from them due to customs, so just something to factor in while planning outfits

So helpful, thank you!!! Do you remember if they charged you a duty when you received your order?
