Weekend Reading | 12.15.18

Grace Atwood and her cat

happy weekend! Last night I had a slumber party at my apartment with my friend Deirdre and my favorite 6 year old (her daughter Daphne!) It was so much fun! The rest of the weekend is pretty busy. Shooting a few holiday DIY projects today and fiiiinally getting my nails done (they’re in such a sorry state!), dinner with my boyfriend tonight, a holiday party with him tomorrow afternoon, and going for holiday drinks + appetizers at The Campbell in Grand Central tomorrow night (I’m really looking forward to this, it sounds so festive!) Whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s great and that you stay WARM! Here are this week’s links – so many fun things!

Holy moly, this embellished crystal bag is one of the prettiest DIY projects I’ve seen in a while!

Simple, chic Chelsea boots at a great price.

This got posted to the private Facebook group and I wanted to share it here – Overbooked vs. Overlooked. A lot of popular destinations are just. too. crowded. This article provides similar off the beaten path destinations in need of more (not less!) tourists.

Pretty DIY gift ideas!

Another good Free People sweater that I probably need in every color.

So I’m not even really big into the royals but Kate + Will’s holiday card is pretty darling!

I ordered these light strips to put over my stove – that area of the kitchen gets so dark!

Speaking of kitchens – how pretty is Mackenzie’s kitchen? Love! (And TBH am sorta longing for the day where my kitchen could take up a whole blog post, HA.)

How to take the best bath ever.

Adore this bodysuit – the fabric is so chic!

Email etiquette!

This cozy tunic goes with anything and is only $25.

We talked about binge-worthy TV this week in this post (loved all your recs) but I loved Jess’s list, too!

The best podcasts of 2018.

These are the cutest tech gloves I’ve seen.

I could not love this gallery wall more!

This acetate tote is SO cool. And it’s my fav color!

I loved this list of things the author always regrets, yet continues to do.

These holiday cookies look so good!

Loving all of these sequin things.  So much good stuff, how cool is this pink dress!?

How to apply perfume like a french girl.

Love the colors of this snuggly faux fur coat!

Some practical but still awesome gifts.

How to take better photos of yourself.

Looooove the sleeves on this chic silk top.

Mmmm this short rib stew sounds so good!

You know I love a good clear resin earring and these are perfection!

Victoria’s Secret model beauty secrets.

The benefits of wasting time.

Need this chunky turtleneck!

Loved seeing Julia’s favorite products from the past year.

It’s so expensive and a little ridiculous but I really want this headband.

How to boost your immune system before flu season.

A new-to-me designer with really cool resin hair clips and earrings! Want it all!

Great list! Your weekend sounds so much busier than mine! Last weekend was like that for me, though, and next weekend will be even busier (plus holiday parties at work last week) so I wanted to just chill this weekend and that’s exactly what I have been doing!
