Oh god. This week was sort of gross. Mercury is in retrograde so it felt like nothing went as I planned it to and everything I did accomplish took much longer than usual. Other than that I just worked a lot. It was one of those treadmills of day job to blog to sleep to start over again the next day. We’ll just say that I’m thankful the weekend is here! Annnd, on a brighter note… there are two things I’m really excited about. The first is that this afternoon one of my best friends gets into town – she’s staying with me for the night, which will likely turn into a fun one as we both had long weeks and need to let loose a bit. And the second is that my alumni magazine actually did a four page spread about me, this site, and my day job at BaubleBar. I’m so beyond honored and excited… and pinching myself a little bit. You can see the feature here (page 22) if you are interested! Whatever you’re up to this weekend I hope it’s fab!
I did a little feature with College Fashionista… take a peek at my apt and read the “In her Space” Q&A here!
How to bathe. Seriously. (and the most amazing sounding detox bath!)
An inspiring interview with Kelly Wearstler.
Loving the gold details on these boots.
Scalloped Flats… at every price.
Have you seen Everlane’s new Petra Crossbody? So dreamy. I went to an event for its launch earlier in the week and it is even more beautiful in person.
Speaking of handbags, I had a minor panic attack because the blue dye in my jeans rubbed off on my ivory Chanel purse. A quick search of the Internet and boom: best tip ever. I can confirm that it works.
The perfect white blazer for under $100.
A really inspiring feature on Mindy Kaling.
I can’t believe this gorgeous handbag line is vegan!
I’m drooling over this plaid pullover!
A behind the scenes peek at my favorite perfumery.
One of my favorite artists, Donald Robertson, is having a sale on One Kings Lane -and all net proceeds go to the ASPCA. I really want one of his prints.
Get the look from Paris Fashion Week.
I picked up this hat last week at Banana Republic. It’s so chic and fits my giant head! (Hats never fit me, so I had to share.)
The coolest jewelry organizer… (it’s a DIY too!)
In case you missed them…
A sparkly DIY project.
Coat season is nearly here!
The first of many interviews…
Some home updates.
