Weekend Reading | 1.5.19

Happy weekend!

It was another short week over here but a busy one. I hosted a New Year’s Eve party on Monday night, I was on the Hashtag No Filter podcast (give it a listen, I had SO much fun being brutally honest about everything from work and blogging to dating to life in New York with Julie!!!) and I caught up with a lot of my girlfriends. We are back in full swing with our podcast (this week’s ep was one of my favorites), and I’ve stuck to my goal of posting at least one video to Youtube. (I filmed my NYE beauty look.) Oh and we are kicking off a wellness challenge in the private Facebook group next week. The start of the year is one of my favorite times of year. I feel so energized and excited about the year ahead. This weekend is going to be pretty chill which you know is my fave. No plans are the best plans! Whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s great! xoxo

(This week’s list is a little shorter than usual as it was a short week but the links I do have are STRONG.)

All anyone seems to be talking about is celery juice. Have you tried it? I’m going to start on Monday.

Still completely hooked on this face wash.

After Helena talked about it, I am going to start watching Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.

All of Shopbop’s new arrivals have me craving a warm weather vacation – especially these espadrilles and this slip dress.

Getting me excited for the return of The Bachelor.

In the blogosphere there were so many great year end posts this year. A few favorites came from Victoria, Jess, and Krystal.

The best pop culture moments of 2018.

This velvet wrap top is too fun!

Yasssss! Love the idea of kicking off 2019 by listening to these TED Talks. I am going to make it a goal to listen to all of them in the next few weeks.

Bravo to Krista for sharing such a vulnerable post.

Jess also shared a very heartfelt post that I really loved.

Anthropologie is having a big home sale. My Tracey Boyd desk AND velvet chair are both included!

Want to cook more? (I do!) Keep these ten ingredients on hand.

The biggest wellness trends for this year.

This gorgeous pink dress on Blair has me wishing for a warm weather vacay.

Winter white! Helena has me inspired to pull out my white jeans.

Such a chic $45 handbag.

Lessons learned from giving up fast fashion.

I should really try that celery juice! Definitely need to detox after all the holiday feasts… I put on 10 lbs in the last six months, haha…

So funny, I was at Trader Joe’s the other day and EVERYONE was buying celery. I knew it had to be some sort of new health trend!

Hi Grace! Love the blog (and podcast)! Could you do a blog post about your experience with drinking celery juice in the morning? I’ve found a lot of articles online with info about doing it but very little about people’s actual immediate experience with it.

Hi Sarah! Yes I’m planning one for a couple weeks from now!
We also talk about it in this week (Weds!) episode of the podcast.
