Week in Review… 3/2/12

What a week!  It was another nutty one and I am feeling very thankful for Friday.  Over at BaubleBar, we had some big news (our collaboration with DKNY!)  It feels good to be able to finally say it out loud, as I’d been holding in the secret for so long!  Our apartment renovations are starting to get under way, and bits and pieces of furniture have been arriving all week.  In between, I’ve just been trying to hold everything else together… man, I’m tired!

I’m ready for a big glass of wine, a pile of magazines, and my coziest slippers.  I have a fun weekend planned.  Jenni is staying with me for the week while she’s in between apartments… Jessie is having a housewarming party, and I have a fun little excursion to the Brooklyn flea market planned with my sister on Sunday.  Other than that, lots of rest, and lots of crafts!  I have a really fun DIY planned for Monday.

How fabulous is court+hudson’s Matthew Williamson clutch DIY!?  Bookmarked this, and need to make it pronto!  I love all of the different textures – and the bright colors!  Christine’s DIY’s are always top-notch, but this is my favorite so far!

I adored So Much to Smile About’s round-up of mixing prints.  Leopard and polka dots, stripes and florals, stripes and more stripes, she has you covered… This post = serious inspiration.

I loved The Everygirl’s guide to styling an entry way.   We’re working on our own entryway as I write this, so it gave me some fun ideas for different styling elements to consider.

Lastly (and pictured above,) Design Darling the Boutique launched!!  It is safe to say that I want EVERYTHING from her site.  Bravo, Mackenzie!

And don’t forget to enter my Ray Ban Giveaway... you could win the Clubmaster shades in any color.  They’re so great!

P.S.  Stripes & Sequins had another record month…  thank you all for your support… you make the late nights and crazy crafting weekends worth it!  I can’t tell you how much your encouragement, kind words, and thoughtful comments mean to me.  Happy weekend!
