Week in Review… 1/27/11

What a fun week it’s been.  We’ve been in Park City, Utah since last Friday, and don’t have to head back until this Sunday.  I’ve seen more films than I can keep track of (been writing about them on the BaubleBar blog.)  It feels like vacation even though it technically isn’t (I’m lucky to have flexible employers… have been making myself get up early and working all day during the week!)  Vacation or not, a change of scenery always gets my creative juices flowing again… and I feel so lucky to have gotten to see so many films.  Tonight, we’re going to the premiere of The Words.  It stars Bradley Cooper – and I adore him.

Anyway, here they are… my favorite things from the Internet this week!

I loved Everything L.E.B.’s roundup of fun ways to use ordinary items (cookie sheets!)  Such a clever post… I especially love the magnetic board.  Positively easy, positively brilliant.
My sister has started her own blog and I just love it.  I died a little looking at her photos from the Liberty store in London…  and these phenomenal leather bracelets – she finds the coolest things!  #proudbigsister
I absolutely loved this DIY from Inspiration & Realisation – Jason Wu pants?  Yes, please!  Such a creative DIY project!
Yesterday, I shared some of the changes we are making to our apartment.  I’m thinking that I MUST make these beautiful Lacquer Boxes from Centsational Girl.  Such a fantastic home DIY… (easy, too.)  I’d do black with ivory trim… perfection.
I really need to re-read The Glitter Guide’s feature about detoxing your makeup bag.  I have a horrible tendency to hold onto my products well past their prime… this inspires me to declutter.
