I wore this outfit on my Instagram + on stories to an event a couple weeks ago and got a lot of compliments on it, so decided to shoot it for the blog too!
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of MadeWorn’s tees. (I have the rainbow Pink Floyd one as well, which I LOVE.) They are expensive for a tee but so soft and comfy. I was surprised at how hard it is to find great vintage or vintage-inspired band tees and really love these. Funny enough, the owner of the company (Blaine Halvorson) started Junk Food Clothing (which also makes graphic tees), sold it off, and now this is his luxury brand. These shirts are all sewn and distressed by hand which is why they feel so authentic. It really does feel like maybe this tee could have belonged to one of my parents, back in the seventies!
Anyway. I paired it with this Club Monaco Skirt (knotting the tee in back as it’s a bit big), and these fun gold sandals. It’s the perfect party look. Comfy, cool, and I love how the skirt could be so dressy with something else, but it feels a little more chill with the vintage tee.
Oh and we need to talk about my belt bag as I literally get stopped on the street and asked about it! It’s from my friend Gretchen’s incredible line and the ultimate when you want to be hands free. Perfect for concerts, parties, etc. I love it! She has a ton of other gorgeous styles… I love them all, especially the red python one (I also love that I don’t know anyone else who has one – sometimes it’s really nice to have something cool and chic that isn’t already all over the interwebs.)

Can I just say how much I love the belt bag? I am seriously liking the fanny pack trend that’s been slowly trickling in! โค

Love these tees – such a good find! Also, perfect juxtaposition with the dressier skirt. ๐

Thanks, Em!
So funny, because last week I was trying to track down this vintage Harley Davidson tee I saw in an Instagram story (no such luck, sadly). I love this one and the idea of pairing it with a skirt like this! I have my eye on a silver pleated skirt and planned to wear it with an oversized sweater, but this gives me even more ways (and reasons) to pull the trigger on it ๐ I hope you have a great Tuesday!
Hope you do it!!! I love mine! You have a great Tuesday as well! xx
What a lovely outfit, I have a thing for the type of t-shirts, and I love metallic skirts. But seeing you dressed this way makes me mentally freezing! ๐
Thank you so much Noemi! And yes it is freezing – I took these photos on a warmer day! ๐
I adore graphic tees so I may have to splurge on this. So cute.

Such a fun look!
Thanks, Nikki!!!
Love this look on you – honestly one of my favorites of yours!
thank you so much Rachel!!!
Is the fashion world really calling it a belt bag? It’s a fanny pack ๐
Totally! Such a cute outfit and the answer to having a chic fanny pack! Love the gold sandals too
haha, fanny pack, belt bag, whatever!
Haha! Actually Gretchen is the first person I’ve seen call it a belt bag. But yes that’s funny!
I adore this look. My friend Eden rocked a dressed down version in Savannah and was literally getting stopped in the street and given compliments!! She had a Metallica tee and tied it on the side. https://www.instagram.com/p/BaPIk9gB9Kw/?taken-by=daisy21
Aw I love that! She looks super chic. Maybe I’ll try knotting mine at the side!
Totally LOVE this look, Grace! It’s so fun, and I agree — all about party wear that’s still comfortable. Want that skirt in a major way.
