Happy fourth of July! I wasn’t sure if I should post today but then I figured hey, worst case scenario… you can just read the post tomorrow. Besides, this dress is just so fitting for the fourth of July, right?! It’s also supremely comfortable… like a nightgown.
I don’t have big fourth of July plans this year. Most of my friends are out of town but we are piecing together a crew and we’ll see what happens. I’m having everyone over my apartment around 3 for snacks and rosé and then we’ll see where the day takes us! I am really hoping to see some fireworks but will happily settle for a lobster roll. Next week I am going home to Cape Cod with my whole family and that’s when I’ll do all the traditional summer things.. BBQs, beaching, making lobster rolls… I can’t wait!
While I have you – last night I saw The Big Sick with a few friends and it was the best movie I’ve seen in ages. It was hilarious and sad, refreshing + realistic… all at once… and probably the sweetest + most heartwarming film I’ve seen in a while. (Maybe I’ve been watching too much sci-fi, but man – I just loved it!!!) If you have a chance, definitely go and see it.

Happy 4th of July! LOVE Pies-n-Thighs! The chicken is great and we picked up our Thanksgiving pie there last year. Also, if you’re looking for a spot to watch the fireworks… my old building at N. 12th & Driggs had a pretty clutch view from the rooftop if you can sneak up there! 😉
