Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder Aura Gloss.

victoria beckham x estée lauder aura gloss review | grace atwood, the stripe

During a routine browse of Net-a-Porter’s new arrivals (a dangerous, dangerous habit – but one that I can’t seem to quit, in the name of “work”), I happened upon something called aura gloss, from Victoria Beckham’s collaboration with Estée Lauder. I was immediately intrigued so I ordered one for myself and one for a girlfriend who was kindly letting me stay with her in Charleston. Now as a blogger I get sent so many things that I rarely buy beauty products (except maybe my top 10 beauty products). Something about this just looked so intriguing!

So what is aura gloss? It’s the prettiest (slightly sparkly – it’s infused with gold and pearl shimmer) golden gel-gloss that you can really use everywhere that you want to spotlight. It’s like a highlighter, except glossier. I honestly haven’t tried anything else like it! I like to apply it on my lips but also (over makeup) to my cheekbones for extra gleam and definition… it catches the light from every angle! I think it would also be really pretty on your eyelids… especially for Halloween, for an angelic, ethereal sort of look! Either way, I’m obsessed with this product and every time I use it I feel a little bit cooler!

I haven’t tried anything else from this collaboration… have you?

I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about this product, but it’s proving to be very elusive here in Canada.
