Of all the parties and events New York has to offer, the one event I undoubtedly look forward to most each year (just at the start of summer) is polo with Veuve Clicquot. This was my fourth time attending (see what I wore in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Last year I had family in town so had to skip it). It’s an all day affair. You wake up early to get ready. Get down to the financial district, and hop a ferry to Governor’s Island. And it’s just so dreamy. Every year, Veuve outdoes itself. It’s like a beautiful champagne infused paradise. That’s practically been built to be photographed. (They also out-do themselves with the waiters – they seemingly get more and more attractive every year!)
This year I was particularly excited as I’d had to skip last year… I was also very excited as I was just in LOVE with my dress – it’s the perfect garden party ensemble and the fit is spot on. (Kate Spade generously offered to dress me for the event. Which was perfection as their clothing is just so perfect for summer party season. I was torn between this dress and this dress but went with the white as it was a little more dramatic and I knew it would really pop with the background in photos.)
Outfit Details: Kate Spade Dress (c/o) // Loeffler Randall Heels (also here; you may notice I am always wearing these in pink or green for parties – like with the Derby… they’re definitely amongst my most comfortable heels and if you go to polo you’ll want to wear a wedge or block-heel so not to sink into the grass!) // Palmgrens Bag
What a fun event! The venue looks stunning, love the touch of orange! 🙂

Gorgeous photos! This looks like such a fun event. And now I’m thirsty…
Have they ever filmed part of YOUNGER at this event? Maybe it’s just because it’s coming back soon (yay!) this seems like an event they would attend on that show.
Happy Sunday!
Haha I don’t know (I don’t remember it being on there) but it definitely feels like something they would film. So glad it’s coming back – one of my favorite shows as well!
This is amazing!! Such a dream event to go to!

I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since the Classic that included post-match takeout at my place. The sudden rainstorm, the tacos after…ah, the memories. 🙂 You look absolutely gorg this year and yeah, VC really outdid itself with the decor!
OMG I KNOW. What a fun afternoon that was!!!!
I love the polka dots. They are just perfect with the pink shoes. And you’re right, the dress really pops against all the greenery! It looks like such a fun event, I can see why you look forward to it so much! xAllie

Honestly, I love the first Saturday in June more than ANY other day of the year. More than my own birthday. I couldn’t agree more that Veuve outdoes themselves EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. Also LOVE your dress, so good for this event. I’m ready for October in LA already!

You look great! Looks like such a lovely event. My sister attended this year, so I hope to get more details from her. Thanks for all the cute waiter pics! They are all adorable. Do you think they gave the really buff guy a too small shirt on purpose? He’s busting out of that thing! Lol
Thanks Cy!
