The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is one of my favorite events of summer and I was so excited to be invited back this year (you can see my post from last year here). I met up with Hallie, Jessica, Julia + her husband Anel, and my good friend Alex in Battery Park around 10:30 and we hopped on the ferry to Liberty State Park for the tournament. Dressed in our polo finest, we made our way to the park (a note for if you go next year… wear comfortable shoes… it’s a twenty minute walk to the park from the ferry. We packed blankets and towels and sat down in the sun with bottles and bottles of rosé.
It made for a decadent day (when we got back to the city, we all met up at B Bar for more food, and more cocktails) and let’s just say that the next day’s Soul Cycle class was rough. But days like those are worth it… it was so much fun!
Outfit Details: Kate Spade Dress (note that I’m wearing the mint color… it’s much more blue in person + in my photos than it is on the weibsite), Elephant Purse, + Shoes (all c/o)
Samantha Wills Sunglasses // Ben Amun Coin Ring // BaubleBar Earrings
This little guy is a new favorite. I love him so much! As an added bonus, his little trunk held the flower bouquet that I made in Veuve’s rosé garden.
This is Alex – one of my best friends in the world and frequent +1 to outings such as this. As you can probably tell, she is the most fun. I had begged Lexi to take a few quick outfit snaps; and Alex decided to make a mockery of the affair. I love this photo and had to include it in the post!
(and here is a selfie of Alex and I… and the elephant.) Also, you can finally see my earrings in this photo. I get so many compliments on these bad boys… they are so beautiful and were only $36! I don’t wear big earrings very often but have been reaching for this pair quite a bit… I love ’em.

It was the perfect weekend for the event because it was so pretty in the city! I wish this rain would go away!! Other than that I love your dress!
This looked like such a fun time and your elephant purse couldn’t be more fitting! You would have been hard pressed to pull me away from the garden area – everything was so gorgeous 🙂

That looks like so much fun — champagne, sun, friends, flowers, picnic and polo! Looks like you had the perfect day of this!
Lovely flowers, beautiful weather, and gorgeous look.
Happy Monday 🙂
It looks like fun. The whole outfit is so sweet. I loved seeing the snapchat fun too.
Best best day (and night!). So glad I got to share it with you xoxo
Omg, I love all of these colors! The pink, blue, and yellow are gorgeous!
Looks like such a fun day! I especially love your shoes. They look like heels from the frost but I like that they are actually wedges.
