Whenever I get asked for affordable product recs, Versed is the first brand that comes to mind. Everything is under $20, the formulas are fantastic, and the skincare really works. I love everything I’ve tried from the brand, but in particular, this $18 cleansing balm. It is one of my absolute favorite cleansers. Besides being a great price, it takes off all of my makeup without drying out my skin, and it smells exactly like old school Noxzema (so nostalgic for me!)
When they launched makeup earlier in the year, I was immediately very excited. Slowly but surely, I’ve tried most of the products. Good news, friends: I have loved everything I’ve tried!

Multi-Serum Skin Tint SPF 40
I must get asked at least every week for an affordable take on Ilia’s tinted skin serum with SPF. This is the one! It is excellent; the formula feels nearly identical to Ilia’s. I love that it gives you coverage, dewy radiance, and SPF protection, all in one easy step. The formula is very nourishing and feels like your skin (just a bit better). It does not clog my pores or irritate my skin. And at $20 (vs. $48), it’s a pretty great cost savings.
Tinted Lip Serum
This lip serum feels like a lip gloss. It is another favorite; it’s basically identical to Tarte’s lip gloss. It gives you hydration and gloss and it feels amazing on. My favorite shade is Flamingo; a pretty peachy coral. And it’s onkly $12!!
Liquid Eyeshadow
I love these liquid eyeshadows. My favorite of the bunch is champagne, which is a shimmery pale gold. The wear is excellent, and the colors are stunning. They’ll stay on all night, even at a wedding, where you are getting sweaty and dancing. My only issue is that they keep selling out!
Glow Drops
Fans of Saie Beauty will love these. Versed’s Glow Drops are a highly versatile product – you can mix them into your moisturizer, you can dab them on over makeup, or you can layer them under your makeup for that incandescent “lit from within” glow. My shade is sheer golden. I love how hydrating they are. The formula contains polyglutamic acid, which is a hydrating peptide that holds 4,000x its weight in water.
Smoothing Lip Blush
I probably reach for these tinted lip balms at least once a day. They are heaven, especially if you tend to get dry lips. My two favorite shades are scene (a neutral pink) and casual (a coral pink). They hydrate the lips without any shine; they’re like putting blush on your lips. Just a pretty wash of color and hydration. The formula is loaded with shea butter and camellia oil for hydration without shine.
Multitasking Brush
I always try the brushes because it is hard to find great ones. You can’t beat the quality for the price ($15) on this one. It works really well for blending in foundation (or the brand’s skin tint) as well as blush, bronzer, and highlighter.

I am obsessed with their cleansing balm – so good and cheap. I work in the medical field and can’t help but pronounce the brand’s name like the anesthesia medication. Makes me chuckle.
