Under-$200-Home-Essentials

Something about Summer coming to an end just puts me in the mood to redecorate. I mean, there aren’t a ton of things I can really do with my space as there just isn’t a lot of room, but I’ve been adding art, working on my little window garden, and adding a few new luxurious (but budget friendly) touches here and there to spruce things up a bit. It’s the little things. A glass carafe next to the bed (a chic alternative to the Smartwater bottle I keep filling up over and over again), a luxe throw to snuggle up with on the couch, and a new quilt (I ordered this one and can’t really believe what a good price it is!) Also, this doormat is just so cool. I love the “Holla” version, too. Another thing I bought immediately are these copper mugs. I’d been looking for them forever and just love them. Perfect for Moscow Mules….

A few words about how I like to decorate. More or less, I stick to neutrals… white, creamy beiges, and caramel tones. I think this comes from living in such a small space, but I just like everything to feel light and airy. I’m really into copper + rose gold accents right now (I bought a pretty copper tray for my window garden) and I like to let my art (+ the pillows my sister made me) add color. It’s easy, everything goes together, and it makes for a serene place to come home to after a long day at the office.

I’ve been nesting lately, so this post comes at a great time. That little Kate Spade catchall tray is darling.

This is exactly the sort of look I am aiming for in my guest room – bright and airy but still with a bit of warmth for the colder months. Those doormats are brilliant!

I’m so with you, there’s something about knowing the season is going to change soon that makes me want to redecorate! We are also hoooopefully buying a house (if all goes well) in October so I am getting giddy at the prospect of decorating that. I love all of your picks here, the doormat is awesome and that bedding looks sooo cozy!

I don’t know what it is, but I never feel like I’ve finished decorating a room. I’m always looking to change up certain things, so it’s great to find affordable pieces like this. Great picks!

I’ve seen those copper mugs on Insta several times and have now decided that I “need” them. I mean, they’re fabulous. In other things that I “need”, that SUP doormat is awesome. Great finds, Grace!
