Tulum Photo Diary 2

Tulum2-1

Day two in Tulum could have been categorized as my ideal day. We woke up early, around 7:30 {only because there was a two hour time difference!} and grabbed a fresh juice by the reception of our resort. I did a little reading {finished up Half Bad – so good if you are into weird young adult books about witches like I am} and then I took an 8:30am yoga class. After yoga I met Alex down on the beach for breakfast {and fresh coconuts — one of my favorite parts of meals at our resort} and then we spent the day at the beach. Not bad.

A little later in the day we wandered up to the beach club for a late lunch — and ended up splitting a bottle of white wine. After that it was back to our room for a little nap, and then out to dinner. We tried getting into Hartwood again {to no avail} but it was probably for the best… we ended up having the absolute most delicious dinner at Casa Banana – seriously good steak kebobs, but the Passion Margarita stole the show. It was probably the best cocktail I had while in Tulum, if not ever!
