Yesterday I told you about the Coqui Coqui Residences in Tulum, where I spent three nights. One of the things that makes it so unique and special is that the hotel is also a perfumery… they make all of their own fragrances.
All of the rooms are scented in the perfumery’s signature fragrances (mine had Tobaco + Agave.) And rather than provide in room toiletries as every other hotel does, they give you a gift bag when you check in… stuffed with treats from the Perfumery. Through that, I became addicted to their Orange Blossom fragrance. (the shampoo and conditioner left my hair clean, soft, and smelling amazing.) Most of the products are available in a handful of shops across the country or via emailing the perfumery directly, but I did notice that Castor & Pollux stocks a curated assortment of the line. (I highly recommend the Coco Coco perfume…. have been wearing it every day since I got home.)
The signature fragrances contain coconut and the smell of the beach from Tulum. I ended up stocking up on candles (some gifts, some for me) a room fragrance, and the Coco Coco body oil + EDP. But now that I’m home I can light a candle, rub on a bit of oil, close my eyes and pretend that I am still on vacation.
{On my third day, it was rainy and so I treated myself to a little spa time. I had a Papaya Scrub and then the most intense deep tissue massage using the Perfumery’s Coco Coco Oil.}
Okay Grace, you’ve thoroughly convinced me I need a vacation to Tulum and of course, I must stay here! It’s surreal, such an amazing place!
