Tropical Print Overload!

Tropical Print Overload

Today, we are going tropical, with a special guest appearance from Tyrion. I had to do it. When I saw Simon Miller’s banana print dress, I freaked out a little bit. When I saw their lookbook, I was inspired to take a little inspiration and try to recreate the jungle cat look in my own garden. Tyrion was not pleased, but I gave him lots of treats afterward. Lucky for me, he quickly forgot his treacherous outdoor adventure.

I love this dress so much. It’s crazy in all the right ways, with a simple cut that skims the body just right. I wore it to the first night of Spoleto festivities and could not stop smiling. Inspired by the dress, I wanted to round up even more tropical prints. Fruits, fronds, and flowers galore. I want everything, especially the bags.

What I’m Wearing: Simon Miller Dress, Dolce Vita Platforms, Simon Miller Earrings

Super cute round-up! Just a quick comment for those who might be in the market: Farm Rio’s stuff is adorable but their customer service feels almost non-existent. I reached out multiple times via email, message, and chat and finally had to call my credit card company to dispute a charge before anyone from FR got back to me. I’ll definitely think twice before giving them my business again.

So you are walking around town in a $600 dress to cope with the heat? Absurd and offensive.

Love this—such a fresh take on tropical without the “vacation-only” vibe. The mix of leafy prints with raffia/rattan textures and clean neutrals feels so wearable. Do you have a go-to piece for easing into the look (maybe a scarf or earrings) before committing to a bold dress?
