Lulu Frost Necklace (old)  // Whistles Tee (old but similar) // QMack Trench

gifted Madewell Jeans // J.Crew Pumps // gifted Henri Bendel Tote

I wore this outfit to the J.Crew preview, a full day of work + meetings, and then the Tiffany party that night.  Honestly, I felt a little underdressed at the party (all my girlfriends showed up wearing gorgeous dresses and all black.)  But I was wearing my spirit animal Leo, and that helped.  The thing about this necklace is that it makes me ridiculously happy, which is to me, the true point of fashion.  Finding things that you love that put a huge smile on your face.  And it reminds me of the first time I ever went to the Lulu Frost showroom, which is a special memory for me.   That’s the thing with great jewelry.  You can be wearing the most boring outfit in the world, but if you throw on a great statement piece, it really doesn’t matter what else you have on.

PS – yes, it’s the third time this week that I’ve worn this Qmack Trench.  Such a classic!

I think it’s a beautiful outfit and a great necklace. I looked back at your previous post when you wore it with a pink sweater. I remember that post, and I remember liking the outfit a lot. I love your outfits, and they inspire me to wear new things and pair different pieces.

Yes, the pink sweater! Good memory. I think it may have been too many colors for a few folks, but it was still fun.. 😉

That necklace is so fun! I think you look perfectly chic and gorgeous. Sometimes being a little more basic makes more of a statement than a fancy dress. Plus, it allows your awesome necklace to stand out 🙂

A good trench is one of the ultimate staples in my book — loving this one in particular with its great price point! And I totally feel you about the whole statement piece thing. I’m actually much more a fan of keeping things classic and just accenting the outfit with one key piece!

You have an amazing jewelry collection, but that necklace takes the cake. I love how the right accessories can take an outfit of black pants and white tee to the next level.
