As you know by now I have had a LOT of travel this summer.
And I always seem to forget something…! Be it face wash, lipstick, jewelry, or (the ultimate worst) lip balm and a hair tie… there always seemed to be something I was leaving behind and forcing a friend to take me to the drugstore to buy. To do something about that, I decided to compile a little survival kit of sorts. Everything in the kit STAYS in the kit, making it easy to grab and go and toss it into my weekender whenever I head out of town… ensuring I’m always 100% fully prepared for whatever life throws my way.
I added the bandaids to the kit after accidentally stabbing myself while making guacamole last weekend… and I should note that I added a toothbrush and a mini tube of toothpaste to the bag after shooting everything this week!
Everything in my “kit” is linked at the bottom, but today we are really going to chat about Pond’s new MoistureClean Towelettes. They are amazing. I’ve been using their cold cream for years (it was actually my first experience with makeup removal, after a dance recital when I was five or six years old) and the wipes are great because they let you get that same great experience (especially for makeup removal) without needing to pack a wash cloth. I have grown to really love wipes when I am on the go. You guys know that I’m super anal about my skincare routine. At home, I always advocate washing your face the traditional way (or doing a double cleanse if you have the time) but nothing is better than these when you’re on the go. They take makeup off in a cinch and the Cold Cream technology leaves skin super soft and hydrated. Everything you need in one easy step!
PS – While the Exfoliating Renewal is my personal favorite, the wipes also come in three other varieties (learn more here) Original, Evening Soothe (with chamomile + white tea), and Luminous Clean (with kaolin clay).
What makes the exfoliating towelettes so special is their texture. The nubby cloth mimics a wash cloth… leaving skin super soft and silky (and further helping with makeup removal). They take all of your makeup off, which is not something I’ve experienced with a cleansing wipe or towelette thus far.
The contents of my kit: Lesportsac Cosmetic Bag // Pond’s Exfoliating Renewal Towelettes // Agent Nateur Deodorant // Mini Advil // Two Nude Hair Elastics // Ban.do Gold Bobby Pins // Santal 28 Perfume Oil // Sisley Lip Balm // Oribe Hair Refresher // Lulu Frost Earrings // Slip Silk Sleep Mask
Created in partnership with Pond’s.
Makeup wipes are definitely important because you never know if you’ll feel like washing your face like a responsible adult (if you’re anything like me!)
Just a couple of weeks ago I was in NYC for a dance conference and I forgot a toothbrush and toothpaste AND ran out of foundation. So I had to hit up the nearest Duane Reade and the prices were crazy. I could have used an emergency kit like this then, that’s for sure!

I love Pond’s towelettes, but I’ve never tried the exfoliating ones – definitely grabbing some next time I go to the drugstore!
Great products, some of them unknown to me and I’ll def. check and test them out. 🙂

Love this travel kit! So good!

I also made a kit, although accidentally. I was just lazy about removing my skincare / makeup products from their travel bags after a weekend trip. But then I realized it was convenient to grab and go! It IS a pain to take the stuff out though and put it back in lmao.

Such a smart idea to leave this little bag packed! It’s the worst when you get where you’re going and realize you’ve forgotten something important like a toothbrush. I might add a little sunscreen too because I always seem to leave it out!
This is such a great idea – I really need to do the same thing… I’m so forgetful since having a baby!
I gotta try those wipes!
Great post – this is such a fantastic idea!!!
I have one of these too, total game changer. Mine includes a few more things: a couple of Shout wipes and one or two nail polish removing wipes. The individually wrapped ones take up no room but can really come in handy. I also sometimes add a sheet of moleskin, because blisters can be a real travel bummer.
